So what's up with Knott's???
smallish replied to Crazy4Coasters!'s topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
When I went to Knotts before xcelerator and Silver Bullet and I didn't ride any coaster but Timberline, it was still fun! It didn't feel that there was scenery, it felt like this was the real thing! At Disneyland there are a ton of little details with the theming but there is always something to remind it's all fake. Knotts also had a place themed to Mexico, which is something you do not see in a lot of parks. I know people who LOVE Knotts, and normally I think they're crazy, but now that I think about it there is some logic behind that. -

To answer Ed's question, I downloaded the second. I think building Casey Junior was a good choice. Fantasyland needed a themed ride. I give permision for someone to build a ride that interacts with Casey Jr., like that boat ride that goes underneath it. EDIT: I'm not sure if I downloaded the new one or not. When you first open the newer file, is the train just after the second switchback? -

I hope this lives up to the hype... Casey Junior coming down the tracks! Casey junior's back, Casey Junior's back! I someone wants to make the boat ride underneath Casey Junior it's fine with me. Oh, and Expedition Everest crashed the game when it reached the first switchback. tpr-disney-smallish-12-6-05.SV6 -

Twister II's California Trip Review!
smallish replied to Twister II's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Wait, The helix is the best part of Goliath? I barely remeber the helix, the only Gs I remeber were on one of the pull outs. What I rember was that the first drop was the most intense thing I have EVER experienced. Do you mean to say that all the other hypers have even SCARIER first drops?! Too bad you didn't get to ride revolution. It's probably my favorite coaster. I actually like the post-loop part of the ride more. I really liked colosus too. The first drop has just enough airtime to be intense and fun, but is nothing like Goliath. -

WIP! Let's save making paths to the end because in the other park it was really hard to put another ride in because other rides blocked expansion. I like it done this way better. I think there should be a universal park next. -

Favourate Flat ride
smallish replied to coasterboi's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I like any scrambler ride (as long as it's run fast). I went on one version of where the cars can go upside down (imagine a scrambler with Zipper cars). I never went all the way upside down though.
