^ Batman & Nitro are both yellow and next to each other that didn't stop them, and GL has a darker shade of green then KK. have you been or even seen pictures of Cedar Point they painted Iron Dragon the same colors of TTD and they are right next to each other. Plus do you think they are going to color a coaster themed to Green Lantern and thing other then green ( I understand they are making the corkscrews yellow) .

Intamin's first coaster was in 1979 w/ Jr. Gemini. I'm pretty sure that that they were designing other rides before then, tho I could be wrong.

Probably just some welding. At CP; I see them doing it to Iron Dragon all the time when, I walk into the park to go to work before the park opens.

I really could only see maybe 2 or 3 of the coasters being relocated to current cedar fair parks. If indeed the park is sold. Afterburn - KI Vortex - MIA or scraped Phyco Mouse - KI or scrap and send the cars to MIA's Arrow mouse. --------- Grizzly - Demolished (No one is wanna buy a wooden coaster and transport it especially like grizzly.) Demon - hard to transport so it most likely will be scraped and send the trains to one of the other chains arrow loopers Woodstock - sell or scraped send trains to CP Taxi Jam - Sell or scrapped Other rides I could see keeping are and sending them elsewhere are Planet Snoopy and maybe a few Kidsvile rides (except for Woodstock and Taxi Jam) - MIA (only one in the chain w/o a PS) Tiki Twirl - MIA Firefall - maybe CW or scrapped Delirium - KD and hopefully they preserve the carousel and send it to maybe KI Just some opinions of mine. some are wishing lol

^Maverick uses that color of wheel for the road wheels along w/ a yellow and redish color for the upstop and guide wheels. Edit: The wheel configuration most likely will be changed from what it is now to so that the trains run a course time ideal for operation of the ride. If I recall on a discovery show on the construction of Tatsu, they had to try several different wheel combinations before they finished testing the ride, and opened it to the public.

It's just a Toyota commercial. They just were talking about an idea, to use the energy that the coasters wheels produce and convert it in to energy for the ride to use. Just an idea nothing really more.

^^after working it for a year, I've learned to like it. But everyone has different opinions on what makes a coaster, a great coaster. I'm pretty sure you have a few coasters in your top ten that i wouldn't agree with. plus I've been drug free for 21 years lol. anyways I really want to get down to Texas to ride this beast.

I feel the same way Greg, I guess you could call us Traditionalist. Dont get me wrong, El Toro is one amazing ride but deffinatly not my fav wooden coaster. Now let the jaws drop to the floor, but for me Mean Streak is higher on my wooden coaster list then El Toro. But I guess we all have diffrent reasons as to why we rate coasters the way we do and what we like in coasters. I guess I would put El Toro in its own catagory if I had too.

Maverick had its Heartline roll taken out, Gemini had to have one of its hills reprofiled, Colossus had is double down removed, boulder dash had its trick track removed and a double down replaced it, Rattler had its first drop shortened. those are the few I can think of.

I think this will be Premier's Drifting Coaster. Which would be a first of its kind b/c the one that as been shipped out is still sitting in containers out at the F1 park in Dubai. Plus the blog never said tilting, just swing back and forth.

^ Technically everything is planned at the moment till the event is actually held. I'm assuming that Robb mentioned Xcel. b/c 1. Knott's mentioned to him that they will try to have ERT on it since it wasn't avaliable last year, 2.It's the only ERT that is worked out as of yet, and/ or 3. It's one of the more temperamental coasters out there and there is always a chance that it will not be open (but in all reality thats as with any ride tho).

Its most likely due to something on that car that malfunctioned(ie.. seatbelt malfunctioning, lap bar keeps sticking, etc.) and most likely will be( already has been) fixed once the park closes. So nothing really too much to worry about, unless this has been happening before?
