I can honestly see these being made bigger and more aggressive and marketed as thrill rides
That would be sweet!
I know it probably wouldn't be able to have four adult riders in the car at a time...but it just seems like one of those kiddie rides that a lot of "big kids" would want to try.
Thunderhawk at Dorney Park--I was working there yesterday morning and rode for the test ride as part of opening procedures.
Here is a picture I took during the Haunt last year (thus the fog everywhere and the red light), when Thunderhawk's entrance was converted to the entrance of one of the Haunt attractions (Steel Force is in the background):

The train itself is nothing special, but I like the coloring of the Zoomerang train at Lake Compounce (my pictures don't show the train very well at all, unfortunately). Also, I thought Chaos train at Opryland USA (RIP) was kind of interesting because of how it seemed to go on forever.
I also agree with everyone who said Dueling Dragons--I especially like Ice Dragon!
Yeah, that ride came to my mind too...not that I felt like I was going to fall out, because the lap bar was there, but those shoulder restraints kind of freaked me out. They just seemed really weird. Interesting ride though!
