  1. Can I sneak in a sun-rise at New York New York Las Vegas?
  2. Woah! Some seriously strong ales being served in the pub. Spirits disguised as beer.
  3. Taste buds are truly tantalised. Fell in love with this festival on our first visit 7 or 8 years ago. Thought we were going to miss out this year as we're visiting in September, but thanks to the festival being extended forward, we get to go.
  4. One of the best things about this event is that it changes the whole vibe of world showcase for the better. It's like the adults leave the kids at home, relax and chill out with some great food and drink. Then, as the evening wears on you see more and more happy drunks. Spent a great couple of hours last year drinking, eating and people watching. Only 2 weeks until this years trip, and as we're picking up annual passes we'll be making multiple trips to the best event at WDW.
  5. Just returned from our first ever visit to Holiday World today. The park was very busy due to the hot weather and the amount of school trips. If your concerned about your size on 'Wildebeest' don't be - every shape and size was riding it today. My tip would be to use the single rider line. The main queue was about 45mins this afternoon, single rider was less than 5mins, and if you get lucky you can stay as a pair. Every raft was sent out full. It is a great water ride, but uses a different method to propel you up the slopes compared to 'master blaster' and 'crush and gusher'. Gone is the blast of water (which does take away some of the fun IMO), but the drops, jumps and air time definitely make up for it.
  6. Great report and photos, especially as am making a first ever visit to Holidayworld tomorrow (Mon). Have been visiting parks all over the U.S. On a fairly regular basis for the last 13 years or so, and have finally engineered a route that passes through Indiana. Have just arrived in Jasper, and the weather is looking perfect for tomorrow - can't wait. Will be looking forward to comparing Voyage with El Toro which we rode last Sunday for the first time ( and is currently my No.1, it was flying, smooth as silk and had incredible air time). Will update later in the week with my comparison.
  7. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Thanks, for that advice. Some useful sites, I've not come across before.
  8. Thanks for that, hadn't considered Princess previously, and your right they look good for Alaska. They are now definitely in the reckoning when we come to book later this year. Don't worry, Holland America were never in the picture, we're getting older, but not that old! Can anybody help us with, which sites have the best deals, for booking US cruises? Cruise only, as we fly with Virgin Atlantic to keep the airmiles ticking over. Thanks again in advance, for any help.
  9. Any chance I could tap into that wealth of Cruise experience, and ask what Line/Ship anybody would reccommend for Alaska? We have no kids and like being entertained. (We love Vegas and Disney) Really enjoyed our first cruise last year on NCL around the Carribbean. Hate the idea of set dining times, and being seated with the same people every night (which is how NCL lured us in). Price is not a major issue, although NCL do have some good deals. (Although other comments on this board are encouraging us to look elsewhere). Looking at 7 nights next May. Big thanks in advance for any suggestions.
  10. Also went on the Norwegian Dawn last year to celebrate my 40th. It was our first cruise, and we deliberately chose NCL for their freestyle cruising (don't like the idea of being told when and where we have to eat, and who we have to sit with). Have to say we were very impressed with the food quality and the service. Would definitely cruise with them again, and are looking at Alaska for next year.
