  1. Curious, is everything in English at the Japanese Disney parks? I do see a few things translated and written in Japanese, just curious.
  2. Went for the first time today, poor operations (slow) Goliath was running 1 train and dispatching that train every 10 minutes Mind Bender was running 1 train Dare Devil Dive was an hour wait and we were at the station Georgia Scorcher was good Batman ran 2 trains, had 30 minute wait Battle Of Metropolis was hour and a half wait Superman was down every time we went by Could use some better crew on rides, and using more than 1 train on a BUSY Friday. Just my 2 cents...
  3. How do cruises really work out? What I mean is...are the meals included (free) with the tickets you buy? Also, are the movies, entertainment and all free?
  4. Saw this on television today, the last two people she interviews go around the World taking photos at Amusement Parks...TPR maybe?............go to 4 minutes, and 25 seconds.
  5. I'm going to Carowinds this Sunday. I have a question..? Can I take a backpack (The one with the strings that you can pull) into the park when I arrive. Just something to keep my camera in, and maybe a bottle water, and phone and such.
  6. I've been to SCarowinds each year for the past 4 years, and I have had a blast each time. Most of the rides, excluding water rides, and Snoopy are open and It is fun riding at night. Mazes are great, Scarezones are great, I think you will have a great time.
  7. Actually the building that housed the supposedly "Largest Indoor Miniature Golf Course," IS the home of the new Reptile Lagoon. I went in the new lagoon last year, and they did a good job with it, but it is not worth the $8 I paid to get into it . When I came to this place as a kid, it was great, but it has since gone downhill.
  8. An area I believe needs a major theme park would be Myrtle Beach SC. I know HRP/FMP failed but If done the right way, and done better than HRP/FMP, I think an amusement park could do well in that area. The Myrtle Beach Pavilion was great (RIP), and something could very well go into that spot, which sits vacant, as it has the past 5 years or so....
  9. I just recently got back from a vacation in the mountains of North Carolina, and saw a small amusement park in Cherokee NC called Santa Land. I did not see any reference of it on this site, but did TPR visit there, or does anyone have any trip reports from that small park? There is a coaster there called Rudicoaster.
  10. Intimidator, Afterburn, Ricochet, Carolina Cobra have the onride camera's, I do not recall if any others do. I have never been during the week, but I have on the weekends. As said above, make sure to get Nighthawk first thing, or you may be waiting a while. It is a great park!
  11. I plan on going to Carowinds this Saturday...How is the park this season? Does anyone have any PTR's?
  12. Hi, I will be going to SCarowinds next Saturday on the 9th, are there any photos or trip reports someone could put up? How has it changed this year?
  13. Well this is my first post lol, but I have watched the forums for a while. I grew up around Myrtle Beach and I see that there are not a lot of photos of the flat rides that were at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion, I would like to see some get put in the photo section of the site.
