2016?? - Resort Hotel - Rumor - (12/31/13) According to Screamscape sources, Steve Burke (CEO of Comcast) made a curious comment in a holiday message to the staff of Universal Studios Hollywood the other day. Possibly overlooked by many, but mixed in with comments regarding a great number of things, Steve also mentioned that “the largest hotel project in the U.S. is coming to Universal Studios Hollywood!” Errrr… Excuse me? We know Universal’s newly approved Evolution plan for the property does give them clearance to build three on-site resort hotels at the Hollywood property. So clearly they are planning to start this off with a bang by building something very large. If I had to guess, they are going to want to have at least the first phase of this unknown new hotel ready to take advantage of the opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Via it's FB page Hello Backers, We just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their patience and support. We have a lot invested into this product and years of work. It is absolutely critical for us that any released version is polished and solid. We are very close to our 'Early Edition' release but it is difficult to put an exact date. We are trying to bridge a gap between professional visualization tools and easy to use gaming software. It is possible to just release the product as is, but this is not something we are considering. We all know there is competition for this demographic, even though our product is clearly different. If we want to compete, we need to have the same approach....don't release until it is ready. Right now we are still hoping for sometime in January for the 'Early Edition' partial release. This is a 100 percent indie project and it helps to know we have the community behind us. We will keep you updated regularly. Thank you for your patience and helping us achieve our goals. Don't know how to quote on Tapatalk.

Not remotely the same. At all. X2 is (one of) sfmm flagship rides. Vu was down constantly. X2 has not been down remotely as much as Vu had been (to my knowledge)

I have a better chance winning the lottery then that happening. X2 is extremely extremely extremely popular, flashback really was not.

Did a quick Google search and nothing came up in regards to the 2014 law…. I Wonder though if this is a chain wide change, after the accident a few months ago

Hopefully they put something up on the SFMM site so potential park goers can known the ride is closed before they get to the park.... (did they do that the last time a ride was closed long term?)

I remember reading this back in April in regards to the Colossus treatment (unless something has changed since then and Screamscpae has not updated it yet). If this is what is planned for SFMM as the next "big" project, We should be hearing about how we should get our last rides on old Colossus before the big overhaul. SInce late 2013 would be Oct right?

All the Six Flags parks are announcing their 2014 attractions on August 29th. Im suprised though that we have not had any hints or rumors drop yet, given that by this time last year we had a ton of "rumors"... Seems chain wide issue too.

I remember now... At one of the WCB's where they toured the old flashback site, I rememeber a caption saying that it might be used for a future HH expansion...

How many WCB's ago was it that they said that they had plans for a HH expansion? That still hasnt happen yet, so its kind of due
