  1. Went to bed last night with exactly 1000 snakes and Lisa's Balance Beam...woke up this morning to exactly 995...grrrr...that means someone sent Lisa to my town and I really thought I had weeded everyone out!

Anyways, KT is having a hard time with this update especially on her nearly full first generation iPad that keeps crashing, so I'm going to help her out later and leave eggs in a ton of towns, she has like 250 to drop off! She still had a ton of random people from Xmas that were stealing from her and stuff...terrible!

  2. Tested this out over the last few hours and it all does make sense.

I'd say in about half the towns I visited I would randomly hear the snakes hiss, and then my count would all of a sudden drop by 5, but there would be 5 extra snakes in the town for me to whack. That being said you get snakes about 66-75% of the time and eggs the other so you can LOSE snakes.

BTW, I'm pretty much caught up on visiting all my friends and I made sure to leave eggs for everyone! Hope you're all doing the same.

  3. ^Yeah so reading up on it this is the readers digest version of what I found out:

    - DON'T visit other towns until you have your license. You will 'lose' snakes. This is because when you visit towns the game will sometimes release some of your snakes into that town for you to catch. This is why even if you don't have an expert license you can sometimes catch more than five snakes in the town you're visiting. The five allowed plus the ones it released from you!

    - Once you have your license you still may lose snakes when visiting other towns. These snakes will be taken out of your count and released in either that town or your town. Once you whack them all back again you may lose because you may get some eggs instead of snakes. This is not a bug, just part of the game which I actually think is somewhat interesting and makes it more challenging.

    Hope this helps!

  4. Just dropped some more eggs off everyone and even with the game only letting me unfriend like three people at a time, I'm down to like 42 people that I can *hopefully* trust. I'll pull more if I see my snake count go down.

I also say the pledge that I will only send Lisa to 'Other Springfield'. And you all better do the same!

  5. Really my only issue with the place is the 21+ after 6pm thing.

I totally understand a 9 or 10pm curfew, but we couldn't even go to dinner or bowl with KT at 6pm? Just seems odd, especially for Orlando, ESPECIALLY on I-Drive. I know that they're going to try and keep it high end and attract a lot of convention people, but a good portion of the place was the restaurant, and excluding a giant demographic of Orlando for dinner time seems a bit odd.

  6. Derek had an idea that those of us who play a lot could setup some sort of system so we would know who was dropping off eggs.

    For example:

Joey Ray - Drops off eggs in front of a restaurant

Derek - Drops off eggs in front of the hospital

Robb - Drops off eggs in front of the Mapple Store

Jewy - Drops off eggs in front of the Church

KT - Drops off eggs in front of the school

    etc.

Obviously if we want to do something like this we need to assign it and it's got to be non-premium buildings so everyone has one.

    Thoughts?

  7. I decided to be proactive and pull anyone I don't really recognize or who hasn't played in over a month. If I pull any of you that are decent humans and want back in just send me a message and re-add me.

I'm having trouble though, it seems I'm only allowed to remove two or three people then the 'remove friend' option goes away until I exit the game and go back into it??? Only the Block or Report options show up!?!?

  8. ^I worry about that. I almost feel like I need to remove all of my friends and start over with people I REALLY trust. I've set Lisa one time and I set her to steal from 'Other Springfield'. If I see that I've lost snakes I'll probably pull everyone and only re-add people when they message me and I know I can trust them.

  9. Wow, I feel like banning the idiot who said they will force the kid on everything. Hopefully it's just some dumbass troll.

If kids grow up around coasters, they'll want to ride coasters. Don't force them or you'll ruin it. Kids also change their minds all the time. One day KT will ride a looping coaster and the next day she won't want to ride Big Thunder Mountain!

Explain what the ride will be like, what they're going to feel, and talk them through it.

Also, don't just go by height restrictions. Someone mentioned a 51" five year old, that's a tall five year old...that means they may not be ready for something just because they're tall enough. Use good judgment and decide what's best for the child.

  10. This sounds SOOOOO confusing!!!!

    1. The currencies for the event are Snakes and Eggs. Snakes are used for winning prizes. Eggs are gifts that you can leave in your friends' towns.

    2. Snakes will generate in your town for you to Whack. According to the game files, a snake will generate every 8 minutes, whether you are online or not. It also says there is a maximum of 50 Snakes you can have "banked". (This hasn't been tested, just observed in the files.)

    3. Snakes and Eggs are earned by Whacking Snakes in your town, and your friends' towns. To Whack a snake, enter "Baton Mode" by hitting the snake icon in the upper right portion of your screen. Then whack away. Every Snake you Whack will always give either a Snake or an Egg.

    4. You cannot Whack Snakes in your town until you complete Whacking Day #1 challenge.

    5. After you complete the Whacking Day #1 quest, and then earn the 2nd Whacking Day Prize (Expert Whacking License), you can Whack Snakes in your friends' towns.

    6. You can collect 5 snakes each day in your friends town with the free License, or 10 snakes each day with the Premium License (50 Donuts, and only available when you earn the Expert License).

    7. You can leave as many Eggs as you possess, or as many as your friends building/decoration capacity will allow.

    8. To leave Eggs, enter the "Egg Drop" mode by hitting the Egg icon in the upper right when you are visiting a friend. Place it like you would any decoration in your own town. You cannot collect Eggs in your friends' towns.

    9. To collect Eggs left in your town, enter "Baton Mode" and Whack the Snakes after they hatch. Every Egg you hatch yields a Snake or a Donut. There is a 1% chance you can win a Donut from hatching an Egg.

    10. To generate extra Snakes to Whack, some characters have tasks that pay Snakes. (Homer, Ninja Homer-Premium, Cleetus, Millhouse, Ned, and Lisa all have tasks that pay Snakes.

    11. Lisa's Quest: "Release Snakes from Another Town" prompts you to a menu with many of your friends listed. The # below the name is how many Snakes that neighbor has collected. It is best to select Other Springfield when doing this task. This task appears to REMOVE Snakes from your friends inventory, it DOES NOT GENERATE NEW SNAKES. After you do this task to Other Springfield, visit Other Springfield and you should find MORE Snakes!

    12. Premium items (Snake Rocks, Snake Stump, Hollow Snake Trunk) can be purchased for Donuts. These items generate Snakes on a 4 hour schedule. If you buy these items, you can get good results by placing them in your town's "Landing Point" (where you immediately enter your town). That way, courteous friends can tap these items when you're away, and help you regenerate Snakes faster!

    13. The Snake Speakers cost 50 donuts and are used to attract Snakes. Tap the Speakers to activate them and attract any nearby Snakes to them. The "magnetism" radius is coded at 20. Place any Speakers near your premium Rocks/Stumps/Trunks or many Eggs, activate the Speakers, then Whack those Snakes as the hover around the Speaker!
