I, too, read this whole post back in July, all 119 pages of it. It was like a novel the way there was suspense and such! And towards the end when he faked us out with the "returning... oh never mind it's just a dream" bit, OH that got me mad! haha, but anyway, I am really excited and this guy is my inspiration for my parks, it's great to have him back! -
Somewhere in San Diego is my best guess . . . Have you ever run out of toilet paper at a somebody else's house and not known where to find a new roll??
-
No ... well it depends on what you call a good theme park. I live within two hours of Knott's Berry Farm, SFMM, and Disneyland, all of which I think are great parks. Do you find yourself constantly coming back to this thread to see what knew questions have been asked or what the answer was to yours??

What song are you listening to?

City On Our Knees-TobyMac My new favorite song! -
Hurricane? Southern California? Nope, just a lot of ASH! Is Cedar Point really the best amusement park?

I was at Magic Mountain yesterday for my friend's birthday and it was a great day! Every major ride I rode(Tatsu, X2, Terminator, Viper, Goliath, Riddler's, Batman, and Scream) all had two trains running! It was surprising because the crowds were so minimal, we waited about an hour for Tatsu around noon, but after that we never waited longer than 20 minutes, not even for X2!!! And it seemed like every roller coaster was delivering superbly! Riding Goliath in the back row, I experienced an amazing length of airtime on the airtime hill And Terminator (in the 4th row!) was super fast! I even enjoyed Riddler's Revenge, it was going so fast and smooth! It was overall just a great day of roller coaster riding

Wow these fires are pretty effective it seems like. At my school (where we lack the pleasure of a gym) I've gone inside for PE the last two days because of the ash in the air and it is visible on the ground! So hopefully you guys are right and I won't be faced with harsh crowds. X2 I know is gonna be crowded, but I'm wiling to stand in line for that its such a great ride, mind-blowing. Terminator will hopefully not be too crowded because I love that one two, same with Tatsu lol.

Hey guys I'm heading to Magic Mountain this weekend(Sunday) for my best friend's birthday so how do you think the crowds are going to be??? Also, what about the wait times because we aren't leaving until 9 ad the park opens at 10:30, so we'll probably get there around 11:00 ... are Termy and Tatsu gonna be packed by then?

this isn't really something the GP have said ... well i guess it kind of is. I HATE when you're talking to someone about vacation or whatever and they say "I went to Six Flags this summer." Now of course I know they mean Magic Mountain because that's the one close to us, but I always want to say,"... well which one? There's tons of them!" Oh and I remember when I went to SFMM with my friend and our families a few months ago and his step brother who was about 10 says (about Batman) "Have I been on this one?" And my friend says "Yeah, it's the one that's almost identical to Silver Bullet." I started to say "It's NOTHING like Silver Bullet"... but I didn't want to seem like a know-it-all

Does anyone know why Robb or anyone didn't post any official threads about the west coast trip??? I was really looking forward to reading about all these parks.

Why is everybody saying that Scream! is the worst floorless?? It's the same layout as Bizarro at SFGAdv just backwards! Has anyone noticed that? I think with all the hype and good reviews Medusa got being turned into Bizarro they should do THAT to scream. And personally I think Scream! is pretty intense in the back row, especially at night! That camera flash just catches you off guard!!
