  1. I heard that Chris Sawyer and the creator of nolimits are both working on making RCT4 having the coaster creator interface of nolimits (and the quality) and the concept of the whole concept of the RCT series and also some of the interface of RCT3. Oh, and it wouldn't be nearly as easy if he when back to the rct 1/2 since he wrote rtc 1/2 using assembly.
  2. well, you could make a new custom track section.
  3. Airtime- Anytime on a ride where you experience negative G forces. If you feel like your stomach is moving up your body, you are experiencing airtime. Batwing- An inversion that is comprised of a half corkscrew into a half vertical loop, then another half vertical loop into another corkscrew facing the same direction as the first. Bunny Hop- The smaller version of a camelback; the train navigates a small hill, producing airtime. Corkscrew- An inversion in which the trains rolls upside-down while moving forward, but rolling horizontally. Camelback- An element commonly used on roller coasters where the roller coaster has a large, non-inverting hill. The element is used to produce airtime. Cobra Roll- An inversion that consists of a half loop, followed by a two half corkscrews, and then another half loop going the same direction as the first. Chain Lift- The most common method for eventually creating kinetic energy for a roller coaster. A mechanism on the bottom of the train connects to the chain, and is pulled up the lift hill. At the top, the train is released and gravity takes over. Chain lifts are generally slow; faster climbs are accomplished through a cable lift. Diving Loop- An inversion in which the train climbs track like a skateboard, then rolls upside-down at the top, and falls back to the earth in a half loop motion. G-Force- The force of gravity enacted upon the riders. When resting, you are experiencing 1G which is your regular body weight. When on a roller coaster, you may feel four times your actual body weight or 4Gs. Helix- A ride element where the ride has turns that last usually are greater 360 degrees. Immelman- An unique inversion that first appeared on Montu. An Immelman is an inverse dive loop. The train climbs in a half loop motion, but once at the top, the train rolls into a drop. Interlocking Corkscrews- Two corkscrews that interlock. A first corkscrew is navigated by a train, then there is a tight turnaround into another corkscrew, the same direction as the first, passing through the first corkscrew. Inversion-Any part of the ride that turns riders completely upside-down. Mid Course Brake Run- A portion of a roller coaster in which the train encounters brake midway through the ride. The brake is in the process of system blocking. If a previous train should have not made it back to the station, the next train will be stopped on the mid course brake run to keep the trains from colliding. The brake can also be used to regulate the speed of the train. As known as a block brake. Negative G-Force- When a rider weighs less than one G and is weightless for a split second. Usually occurs when going down drops and over hills. Also refer to airtime. Positive G-Force- When a rider feels heavier than their actual body weight. Usually felt at the bottom of hills. Vertical Loop- The most common inversion; a 360 degree loop standing at a 90 degree angle. Zero Gravity Roll- An inversion in which the train rolls a complete 360 degrees around a specific point; produces weightlessness.

  5. How's that a negative. lol I'll check out the ride tomorrow. oops sorry now read it again.
  6. What I liked: Nice layout not too fast What I disliked: some parts where a little too close to the tracks almost all of the transitions where NOT smooth could have been a little more fast over all I give it a 7/10
  7. are you on a x64-bit version of windows vista?
  8. Are you looking in C:\ Program Files\ NoLimits Coasters v1.7\ tracks ? Also the track is .track file not a zip folder.
  9. They go in C:\ Program Files\ Atari\ RollerCoaster Tycoon 3\ Cars\ TrackedRideCars
  10. you don't have to use that, you can use any program that allows you to export as a 3ds.
  11. what do you mean "10 object limit and making it part"? do you mean getting it into the game?
  12. Ummmmm, is this supposed to be a thread for people to post their favorite NoLimits coasters, or did you forget to post videos of other coasters? I liked that Stallion video though, it was very nice.
  13. Can I have a copy of that, cause I could really use that. Thank You
  14. I spent hours trying to keep the G's below 5. But no matter what I did nothing was working, so I gave up (which is something I RARELY do). And I no the pace is slow at points and the brakes are misplaced, but those are just because of the attempts to lower the G's. And I got so annoyed with these problems that I just couldn't spend any more time trying to fix the banking.
  15. incredibly smooth, no pumping, perfect banking, launched lift hill, and ADRENALINE!!! Enjoy, please comment. BTW, this is my second NL coaster. 16. This is my first NL coaster. Fully hand crafted, took me 1 day (approximately 20 hours of sculpting, and 4 hours of riding) Please Enjoy The Helix.nltrack Enjoy, please comment The Helix-090625205154095.bmp The Helix-090625205139092.bmp The Helix-090625204955079.bmp The Helix-090625204919074.bmp The Helix-090625204908071.bmp The Helix-090625204844066.bmp The Helix-090625204738058.bmp The Helix-090625204618051.bmp The Helix-090625204335035.bmp The Helix-090625203518005.bmp The Helix-090625202225002.bmp The Helix-090625201932001.bmp
  17. It pretty decent so far Though, that transition into the helix looks kinda odd
  18. Tanks, and what what about my first question:
  19. how do you make track segments that are seperate from the rest of the track? Example:
  20. None of the scenery that came with RCT3 is showing up in the list of scenery items, yet it's all still in the style/themed folder. What do I do? BTW, I'm using Windows XP, and RCT3 Platinum. I used the game perfectly fine with no problems scince the year that the game came out. Thanks
  21. Is it possible to make a custom car/train in NoLimits? If so, how do you make it (Does it need "effect bones", and what would I name those "effect bones", do I need a special program that I need to install it correctly into NoLimits, how do I get that program)? Thanks
