I'm not at the computer right now (I'm answering from my phone) but I remember when I would right click on them they were like 7mb. They're pretty large, they open larger than my computer screen though lol. (I'm no expert here so I hope that answered your question) -

I would love to do that lol, unfortunately I don't have the money to do that. By the way I'm in the process of getting all the pictures touched up. Would everyone like me to host them somewhere at full quality and then post the link? -

Here's another shot I'd thought I would add. In this you see (obviously the park) but then above it is Marblehead Peninsula, then above that is Put-In-Bay (that tower is Perry's Monument), and then far right (cut off) is Kelley's Island. -

I'm not actually sure. I didn't notice that stuff until I was going through the photos otherwise I would've tried to zoom in on it. -

Hi everyone, I was flying around Cedar Point earlier today and thought I'd snap you guys some pics! Not in any particular order cause we circled several times. Enjoy! -

Probably won't physically come down until the off-season because of its location in the park. -

I'll call a lawyer. I'm thinking class action. We'll need a big settlement for all this mental anguish! -

That is going to be the best part of the ride. I wonder how that will work with 3 train operation, but I'm sure CP knows what they are doing. Oh no doubt! -

My favorite part is when it launches you backwards out of the final breaks!!!!!!!!! -

That teaser picture of the tshirts that Cedar Point posted on Facebook said May 2013 so I would assume yes. -

Son of Beast always got some nerve in my back every time and I just could never enjoy it. Even when they switched to the new trains and took out the loop. I'd be lying if I said Maverick hasn't bruised me. If I hold my arms up I'll use my inner arms to brace me laterally in the harness and they'll get bruised because of that. I still love it. I still think even of you don't want to lean in anticipation of the turn, as long as you how the top curve of the shoulder harness, you should be able to hold yourself still. If you do the lean thing though, you don't even need to hang on! Now that's fun IMO. -

Height I agree can be a factor, but you can over come it. When I was younger I used to not really care for Mantis cause it used to pound my head in the twisty section. Like I do on Maverick, I started moving my head in anticipation of the turn or twist and the problem is gone. I'm 5'10" and my head is well above Mavericks shoulder harness. I still however move my body in anticipation, because if I just sat there like a wet noodle, yeah you could get beat up. Even if you don't want to do what I do you can still brace yourself by holding the top of each harness and brace yourself. I do agree that I-305's re-straints would probably be more comfortable, but I don't think the current ones are bad. -

I roll my eyes at these over-generalizations. Also in my opinion, anyone that complains about Macerick being painful to ride, doesn't know how to ride it properly. -

I can't 100% confirm that claim, but I will say it wouldn't surprise me if that is a factor. I worked at Wicked Twister a bit in 2004 and the wind would be so hard at times, we'd get little "sand storms." I know how hard the wind can blow off the lake at times, so the lower tracks closer to the ground would probably most definitely get sand blown into them. -

Eh..... poll outcomes have never bothered me one way or the other. Something so subjective as "What's the best steel or wooden coaster?" can never be agreed upon because not everyone thinks the same. -

Don't count on it. There's a hockey team in Cleveland that already bears that name. Not exactly the same situation, but: Yes and the Blue Streak was named after Sandusky High School's logo. -

Sort of off topic but seeing all the naming ideas reminded me, has anyone seen the show Summer Daze at the Palace Theatre this year? The one curtain backdrop has a photo of Wrigley Field with the sign photoshopped to read "Cedar Point (either Field or Stadium, I forgot lol), Home of the Muffelheads". I got quite a kick out of that. Being local it almost makes me wish that Cedar Point with sponsor a youth little league team and call them the Muffelheads!
