I don't understand the connection. If there are more people in the stand by line, that doesn't mean there will be a smaller, lesser need for single riders. I actually made a small typo, an my previous post should have read: "I thought single rider was no longer available by the time the stand-by line was a 6+ hour wait." Nonetheless, I was mainly addressing Shawn after he mentioned how he and his friends are visiting the park on Monday and that they were grateful for the single rider line and being able to skip the terrifying 6 hour wait.

Rudie would kill you for mentioning that idea. as would i. Modifying what was the first sucessful modern looping coaster is akin to saying 'we dont really need the statue of liberty anymore' or saying 'you know, the washington monument is kinda a waste of space, wouldnt an appartment building be better use. Revolution is not just a roller coaster, it was a roller coaster that helped form the modern age of coasters. Not to mention the fact it is one of His works AMEN!

During the Q&A at WCB 2011, park management actually performed a comedy skit about this idea.

Revolution being "OSTR-Free" would be really awesome and quite nostalgic, however I honestly don't see the current management dealing with this issue any time soon. Now, if new management were to come into play, then there might be a hopeful chance of restoration to Revolution, but other than that, Revolution will continue to bear OSTRs.
