  1. Hmm, that's a good idea, any particular shade? Edit: I tried it out, reminded me quite a bit of seaworld.
  2. That's what I was thinking, It adds a burst of color, but that's not what I want it to do. I guess I'll go with grey/white, adds contrast to the supports/lake and still fits well.
  3. I like the origninal station, personally. Haha. Yeah, I had this idea awhile ago, the only issue with impulse/giga is it doesn't easily work with the radi of the loops. Worth a try someday! So, basically I'm getting ready to submit, I just need input on the station colors, my top choices are: -Original -Yellow/white -Grey/white
  4. Yellow and grey, or yellow and tan? Or yellow white? SCR46.bmp Yellow/White sample
  5. You would need a support blocker, an invisible piece of scenery that.. Well, blocks supports. For a first attempt, very nice!
  6. Fixed Thanks! -------------------------------------------------------------- Discovery Isle Opening Day Trip Report By Ash West Hello all! As many know, today was the long awaited opening of Discovery Isle! Rainstorms were on and off throughout the day, but overall it was a wonderful experience! Most of us headed streight for the Carousel, an old favorite. After that, Whirlpool! It was a great ride despite being a small kiddie coaster! For lunch we took a break at the Ship Shop, which had some great Asian food. Soon it was raining, hopefully the rides wouldn't close.. Thankfully, most of the rides stayed open. We rode Raider and Grand Wheel next. Boardwalk Bullet was a wild ride! Suprisingly, the accelerator, Gale Force remained open. We rode it several times! The layout was amazing! Views from "The Storm Trio" as they are called, were incredible! As we were leaving the park I saw this sign: I hope to return soon!
  7. Right, I'll work around wit that for awhile see with what I come up with. Thanks for liking the landcaping and supporting! It's my third fully supported coaster and first mega-landscaping project. UPDATE: Here are some color options: I particularily like the grey/white. Foliage changes: Small overview:
  8. Looks great! I do hope you plan on supporting that waterslide line.
  9. I've been rather busy this morning. ____________________________________________________________________________________ That appeared in the news this morning. Advertisements on TV showed all rides testing, and even some new ones! Raider Island Boardwalk The Storm Towers (Cyclone, Typhoon, and Hurricane) Chaos Not shown: Gale Force Boardwalk Bullet Whirlpool I'm sure soon we'll see this park crawling with guests! (Note: The next few updates will be in trip report format.) Comments welcome!
  10. I know tdub wanted me to keep him posted on the topic of a boardwalk, and here are some first images of said boardwalk! Chaos: Ride this furious monster at the Island Boardwalk! Photo spot: Boardwalk Carousel: Ride a classic right on the water!
  11. Hey guys, this was the result of me putting my mind to an idea yesterday afternoon: Maelstrom is an Intamin Zacspin based in the heavily forested section of a larger park (as evident by two other "coasters" and a rapids ride interacting with the area). I'm currently working on adding bences and lights, but any critisim and comments are greatly appreciated for this project.
  12. Well I finally got my lazy rear up for something new: Comments welcome!
  13. Oh, that looks very nice. Might I suggest some flowers under those trees?
  14. Holy %#*$, that's BRILLIANT! Oh yeah, this too: Gale Force: Comming soon to Discovery Isle!
  15. Very nice! The only thing I don't 100% like is the random concrete strip down the center, seems just a bit out of place. Overall I like the coaster!
