  1. I like row 7 better because the rotations happen at a smoother rate than the front. In the front the rotations are slower and in my opinion more awkward. And last raven turn is rough in any row. I always tell people that once you crest the turn to just put your head back till you hit the brakes and you are good. Always worked for me. And you HAVE to learn how to ride Revo. Especially when you have ear piercings.
  2. It is less painful in the back. And I just learn to roll with the punches. But the next day my neck was rather sore. I wouldn't recommend it.
  3. Earlier this year in February or March. I rode X2 17 times in a row because they were allowing us to re-enter in rows. 19 times total that day. But it sounded like a really good event. I am hoping that Out on The Mountain isn't too crowded.
  4. Goliath at SFMM. 140 times in one day. 1,015 this year. Lifetime: 1,300?? And yet for some reason I still get cravings to ride it.
  5. Next years will probably be more crowded though. Hopefully not though. Cause I definitely plan on going now.
  6. FML. I should have gone. Guess there is always next year. Must have been nice to be the only one on X2. I would imagine it would be quite quiet.
  7. ^Not to mention that like 3 or 4 heads are usually broken in Goliath's queue and they just spew out water.
  8. ^I personally LOVE it backwards. I actually look forward to riding it. But I am not one of those people that something out against Colossus from the get go. Its rough but still fun.
  9. So turns out that the season pass promotion is only being offered at all of the other parks. Magic Mountain will have a similar promotion in early November.
  10. I can't even remember the last time there was fog in Goliaths Tunnel. And i've been on it like 2 twice a month since Jan. Very sporadic indeed.
  11. Last year it was November 2nd.
  12. Six Flags facebook page posted this about a half hour ago ... Pretty nice deal considering it is still the beginning of September. Last year I remember it starting around late Sept. Maybe its a 090909 deal.
  13. Three trains on Goliath isn't efficient. There would always be a train stacked on transfer. And in the summer heat that is just no bueno.
  14. ^ I'm really curious to see how many people will show up.
  15. Don't expect to see 3 train operation. It wouldn't really be efficient at all. When they have 2 train op there is always a train in load. 2 train op is as good as it gets.
  16. At the X2 Campout all of the effects were on. And about a month ago I went on at night and all of the effects were on. Lights, fog, fire and audio. I was VERY surprised.
  17. That's probably because play passes are so cheap and almost everyone has one. Back then Season Pass holders most likely much lower in number. Imagine how many people would show up if that did that now with the Play Pass deal. They should do something for Extreme Pass holders. Since they limit the number of those being sold. Like how Sea World used to do Passport Previews but Fun Card members were not allowed to attend. At least for Journey To Atlantis here in SeaWorld San Diego.
  18. I lost my season pass on x2. and it was the only thing in my pocket. i was SUPER surprised seeing as how it weighs almost nothing. They found it and mailed it to me about 2 months and $25 replacement fee later.
  19. Tatsu is amazing at making people lose articles. I have had 3 friends lose phones because they didn't listen to me. If you look down at the water on the turn around over the front water fountain/falls you can ALWAYS see something fall down.
  20. ^Goliath and Scream! used to have cubbies a long time ago. And there are all day lockers in the front of the park to the left of the Flash Pass office.
  21. When I was at the park about 3 weeks ago I went to several locations and they all gave me water in a cup with ice. For free. No questions asked.
  22. ^^ In regards to Tatsu being shorter than most rides. Tatsu :Length: 3602' Superman: Ultimate Flight (Longest of the Clones): Length: 2798' Air: Length: 2755' 11 Manta: Length: 3359' Source: RCDB In my opinion Tatsu is one of the best flyers out the three I have been on. The length is a good length for a roller coaster.
  23. And remember that when you compare coaster lengths sometimes you are only talking about 5 or 10 seconds more of time. I think Tatsu is a nice length. Compare them to Superman: The Escape. That is a short ride.
  24. Are any TPR members going to Out On The Mountain this year?
