  1. Yeah, the MF squiggle logo is nowhere near the actual angle of the drop. I would expect this to be somewhere in the 70-80 degree range, but it wouldn't really surprise me if it is steeper.
  2. Territories -- Rush
  3. I decided to go with a little something different than what I normally drink tonight, and I was pleasantly surprised. Worth every cent I spend on it.
  4. Good stuff. Hopefully FMP can stayn afloat enough to stick around for a while longer. And at least they are getting decent crowds - even if the prices are ridiculously reduced. Hopefully that pays off in the long run. But you know operations are awful when people are sitting on the floor waiting for their turn to ride TTM.
  5. I'm confused... Do people at Thorpe ride with their noses in their neighbor's armpits??
  6. Grey supports and red track... I got it - Ohio State: The Ride. Feel the fury of the Buckeye!
  7. Red Sector A (Live) -- Rush
  8. Really nice pictures. Always nice to see such a detailed TR on these parks. Just curious, what camera did/do you use?
  9. Good to see they've gotten this thing up and running. I absolutely love to look of the queue under the crowd surfer - that should look amazing at night with all the lights around it. Though I'm not surprised to hear there's not a whole lot of air on the first drop - it still looks like the drop starts to flatten out much to early to provide any sufficient air. Though its good to hear the rest of the ride is fun.
  10. ^"Wetting Highly" Daiper: The Ride?
  11. ^I think B&M has been ruled out since the get-go. I don't remember hearing or reading anything at all that would tie B&M in with CP 2010.
  12. ^^By God, I think you got it! I dunno how we could've missed that.
  13. So you're taking "CW" as Carowinds? That makes a hell of a lot more sense - I read it as Canada's Wonderland. Which makes absolutely no sense.
  14. ^^Finally, Coffee: The Ride sees the light of day!
  15. Underground tunnels on a water slide?? Hell yes! Seriously, HW knows how to do it. Without a doubt one of the best-run parks around, and one of the most fun to visit. This ride will only make SS better. I can't wait to see it go vertical. Terrain water coaster = awesomely epic.
  16. ^Agreed. I had no idea something built in a video game could be "too original." I'm loving how it looks. When I get back on my desktop (and off my laptop) I'll download it and give it a spin. Looks good though.
  17. ^Awesome. I'll be sure to check in while I'm at work tomorrow morning. Looking forward to it.
  18. I'm wondering that since they haven't released the name or logo yet if they will have a naming contest for it? I doubt it myself, but it could happen. As far as Premier as the designer, it's been some time since their launched coasters of old. I have no doubt that they've improved on the ride experience - even though I don't really have a problem with their older launchers. I just hope that they use a new restraint style. The oversized lapbar and ankle braces are somewhat constricting. Otherwise, I'm really looking forward to seeing this ride come together.
  19. Yeah... That's probably not the best thing to add in your first post here... Just sayin'. The plot with this ride - and the ones at KD and CP - sure are getting trickier and trickier. But just a few more weeks and we'll know pretty much everything we need to know.
  20. ^They wouldn't necessarily need to remove FD for a new ride or area. The SoB footprint is plenty big enough for a park expansion without using the FD footprint. I think you countered your own argument right there. It's a bond fire - its government-subsidized. CF wouldn't have to pay a cent!
  21. Mystic Rhythms (Live) -- Rush
  22. ^I'm not entirely sure, but I think they work similarly to LIM/LSM coasters. There's a set of electromagnets under the inclines, and magnets built into the bottoms of the rafts. When the rafts travel over the magnets, the opposite poles on the raft and slide magnets propels the rafts in a forward direction, up the incline.
