I haven't seen any recent pictures of Dominator, but now that the grass has filled out its looking fantastic.

That Weather Rock is awesome. I want one now. And I really wouldn't mind drinking buckets of Coors Light - it's better than most of the stuff here.

Pink Floyd is one of the most timeless bands. I can listen to their music anytime and it is still relevant today.

Those on-ride videos are really worthless. Charging you that much money for that is more or less a complete scam. I've never liked them, and really think that parks add them to make a few more bucks off the unsuspecting GP.

Quoted for truth. I really like the way they designed the lift and drop supports. 2 supports for the entire thing?? Awesome. I'm sure it will make more than a few people uneasy. And if that second hill under the lift has any of the OMFGGGGGGG Maverick ejector airtime (from the first airtime hill), it'll be crazy. It looks like its about half as tall as the lift, maybe a little taller. It should give some good air - especially in the back of the train.

^But by that logic, wouldn't SS also suck compared to the predecessors? I mean, SS is taller and more advanced than what came before. I'll bring the Beast.

So would anyone like to place bets on how quickly after the announcement it will be before this thread descends into complete chaos? I give it 2 hours.

^^Oh yes, 5 feet shorter than MF and no overbanks or tunnels. What were they thinking?!? This ride is totally going to be a dud. Can we please stop judging it from the animations and wait until we ride it before we go around saying its an awful ride?

^Earnhardt's nickname was The Intimidator. ^^^Because clearly, a 305-foot tall coaster, with the lift supported only by 2 seemingly flimsy support structures (in the GP's eyes) isn't intimidating in the least. That might be TPR's Shithouse Rat Comment of the Week. The only thing I hope is that CF and KD won't go authentic NASCAR and sell ad spots on the trains. And since the "#3" moniker is apparently owned by a company other than DEI (at least that's what I'm getting), I wonder if they'll add a 3 to the train...?

I'm really liking the looks of this ride. And I'll be honest - I love the fact that it has the OTSRs. I have absolutely no problem with them at all. And from all I've heard, the belts on MF have gotten even shorter in the last few years. Last I rode it in '07, I barely - and I mean barely - got the belt buckled. If I were to get on it now, I have no doubt that I would be WoS'd - especially after not fitting on DB last month. I've never even gotten close to WoS on Maverick, so I don't think this ride will give me problems. The layout looks very fun, with plenty of airtime and forceful turns throughout. And if the transitions are anything like they are on Maverick, there might even be a little airtime on them. In regards to the comment that the intense airtime hills on Maverick and Fahrenheit bruised the thighs... Uhh, wouldn't that happen with any style of lapbar - and not necessarily just from the Intamin OTSRs? I mean, both the Intamin harness/lapbars and regular lapbar-only restraints fall on the same area - the thighs. The extreme ejector air would probably have the same effect on the thighs with any type of restraint. It doesn't only happen with the OTSRs.
