Nürburgring launched coaster
JoshAbelsonXiii replied to thomas2's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think this coaster is kinda of a waste. I think If you going to make something this fast, you should make the hight correspond with it. Also, having a break segment right after the launch kills the point of having a launch. I don't know, this is just me -
I'm trying to find a good day to go to Magic Mountain. Since I don't get to go that often, I need to get the most out of this and hopefully find a day that the park is not busy. The only dates that I can go is during winter break. (December 27 - January 3) So if you know any information that can help me, I'll very much appreciate it! Thanks a lot!

I'm Josh, HI. I live 10 minutes away from Knott's berry farm, 20 minutes away from Disneyland, and about an hour away from Six Flags Magic Mountain. I'm in the second year of high school (11!!!) I'm into video production, swimming, shot gun, archery, rifle, running, biking, rowing, trumpet, guitar, piano, and I love roller coasters. My first ride was on space mountain at Disneyland. I was scared like no other to ride it, but once I got off the ride, I was hooked. I use No Limits on my free time. My youtube channel is www.youtube.com/rollercoasterxiii Thanks for reading!

1. Modeling Polystyrene, which is the same stuff as Styrofoam (expanded polystyrene) is made from, but it is in a hard, flexible sheet, beadless form. Look up Evergreen Styrene to see the sizes available. 2. Figure out what scale you want to build it in (say 1:200), get the measurements, and divide all of the measurements by that scale to get the dimensions for the model 3. Get some modeling acrylic paints, and some brushes, or an airbrush. Polyscale is a good brand of paint and is available in many colors. 4. Your house may be a good location to build it. 5. Depends on how much time you spend on it and how skilled you are, but since you appear to be brand new to this type of modeling, it may take several weeks. 6. I think I will leave this one to you, to develop your modeling skills, so it is a bit easier if you decide to build another model. That is because Coaster Dynamix models are designed in O scale (1:48) which is quite big. I would recommend a scale of about 1:200 or 1:250. Then the model would be 1/4 to 1/5 that size. Thank you so much, this will help us a lot!
