  1. So, did I approve? Indeed, I do approve! Oldest ride and newest ride, all in one shot! ZOMG airtime hill. After-ride interview. I was so hyped by it that I was just yelling out random words, as if I had turrets! 2 lifts, 1 shot! Sexy curves. Onride photo. TS:TR Shirt. One of these is different.... one of these does not belong... The shirt I bought. Tim Shapman greeted us at the exit of the gift shop! NOTED! After getting off TS:TR, we figure that we have time for an X2 credit. Ninja swinging action. Evil face. "...Shiny..." Wegwieser. (or however the hell you spell it!) Hi Jahan! Viper is pretty packed, too. (But not like it was on that one video where the line stretched to the back of the park!) X2 makes dad smile! The 1st guy looks sorta like a really nerdy Dereck! "Hey look, I'm the Fanz! Eh!" X QTV Z00M! I think these all look like fun. Does this mean I'm Type Z or something? "...Shiny..." "It had to be you... It had to be you!" "I approve of this random penny!" Standing in this line, even though it's shaded, makes you hot and thirsty. So I bought a Coke. Loopscrew. They put the 2 back up... Sorta. X2 design goals. Too much red? Looking up Viper's skirt. That little blue box caused a LOT of problems in 2006! Manly compared to X.... but still, X's color scheme was pretty unique, even if girly. Still X yellow in some parts. "It haaaadd....toooo...beeee......yyoooooooooooouuuuu...." What's that white thing? The transfer track is still X magenta/yellow. X...X.....2...2...2....ssssssssssss.......Is everybody in? IS EVERYBODY IN?!?!?.....What was that?...that?.....that?... You can tell by my facial expression that I like this ride. Transfers. I always thought X/X2 had almost too many supports. They look cool, yes, but it seems a little bit too crowded, don't you think? I'm glad we got on X2 earlier; the line is much longer now. Because of a smudge I got on my camera, this is the last 'tolerable' photo I took. And because the photos suck when I upload them to TPR, this is the last photo TR for it. I really enjoyed my week in California and I'm glad I was able to be one of the 1st GP riders on TS:TR. This *FINALLY* ends the whole TR! Thanks for reading!
  2. Hmm.... Wonder how much damage there is. Does this mean the park is done for?
  3. It's been over a year since this trip happened. I might as well get it done now while have time and while I still can. The weather at SFMM was pretty cloudy to start off... X2 greets us with its still shiny paint. TPR is here to investigate the crime! (If you consider the opening of a new GCI a crime, that is) There was already a pretty large line for parking when we arrived. S:tE appears to climb into the fog.... The line for parking was about as long as the line for getting into the entrance plaza. LET US IN! RAAAWWWRRR! This guy just sat there and taunted us.... knowing we wanted to get in... "I'm exited to ride a BRAND NEW WOODIE!" Meet Zach (SFMM Fanboy) and his brother. They came all the way from Fresno to ride TS:TR. They're fans of Tatsu, as you can see by their shirts, although Zach's bro prefers Disney. We talked with them (and their mother) throughout the lines we stood in (Here, TS:TR, X2). Who's season pass looks better: Zach's SFMM Pass..... ...or my SFMM/HH pass? You decide! We had to sprint to get to TS:TR. We chose to take the path that goes around the left side of the park. The Potter Family (Zach, Sheri, and brother. Forgot his name, sorry!) went up the path that leads to Samurai Summet and went down the hill. By here, we were already beginning to tire. No Ninja yet... As you can see, the line was beginning to build outside the TS:TR sign. "I've never ridden a smooth woodie ever in my life!" "I wonder why we're not at Disney." OMG! Skynet! Everybody appears to be in the same position in this photo.... QTV Z00M! Shapiro, or Burkhart, or Thurman. Another SFMM Celebrity makes an appearance! This is the same color Psyclone's wood was when it opened in 1991. Did they just take this truck from B:tR and put a Skynet lable on it? Lonely little cactus. I'm sure it's grown a lot since this photo has been taken! "Mommy... Don't make me do this... I'm scared.... I'm afraid I'm gonna be turned into a robot, like Markus Wright..." TAKE THE TUNNEL! They took a perfectly good new Jeep and dirtied it up and took off the doors. WE TOOK THE TUNNEL! SFMM Employee approves of this brand new woodie! Walkthrough post slap credit. Toothpicks & Nails & Bolts! Another SFMM Employee approves of these new toothpicks! Preshow. "....Shiny...." Mark Burkman greeted us as we walked into the station! New restraints! The station-flythrough is cleverly used as overhead row marking. Brake nerd shot! Train full of satisfied riders! So, will TS:TR impress me? Find out soon! Thanks for reading!
  4. Remember that a LOT of people were on crack in 1990.
  5. Oh yeah... Duh! Being the S&S Fanboy, I should've known!
  6. ^GASM was originally a clone of Shockwave at SFGAm, just 3 ft taller. And Greezed Lightnin'... Well, we all know there quite a few of those. Despite the clones, I like this park so far. Keep up the good work.
  7. Well, *IF* it isn't a coaster, but a new thrill ride, I'd say somewhere around either a Zamperla Mega Disk'O or (despite its unpopularity and downtime) an S&S Sky Swat.
  8. This seems like a nice little park with some potential. A few coasters, some theming, and a pretty good location.
  9. This is a pretty interesting park. For F:tR, might I suggest putting a clearance sign beneth the coaster track so (in real life) trucks that are too high wouldn't run into it?
  10. ^I suppose those are good and valid points. A new woodie would change their trend of adding new-age steel coasters to their park. After all, it's been 20 years since their last woodie (MS, of course), and they could use one. Maybe they could tear MS down and just completely replace it with a new, good woodie?
  11. ^You can get them as CS or you can use the 'build through anything' cheat with 8 Cars per Trainer to build a Multidimensional coaster with the chain lift through the lift hill or brakes of the coaster you want to have catwalks.
  12. I really don't think a new woodie would be a sound option. I think a retrack of MS (TG style) would be a more reasonable guess as for what CP is going to do. But that's just what I think.
  13. Is that a fire I see on the left of the last photo next to the shuttle loop?
  14. Viper.... Viper is a little different than GASM. Shockwave and GASM had the exact same layout, but even though Viper had the same inversions, the layout as a whole was different.
  15. Remember, this is Six Flags we're dealing with. Big park chains have no sense of retro at all, just a sense of building more roller coasters.
  16. Not perfect, but better than I can do. I can tell you uploaded GASM right from RCT2 onto RCT3, the layout is just like the RCT2 version.
  17. On a park I downloaded from CoasterFuel, whenever I look at the catchcar for the cable lift hills on the park's Mega-lite and Hyper Coaster, I get an Error Trapper. Is there a solution to this, or is it a problem with the file itself?
  18. I would think Monster Mash would be going. Although Parachute Falls is a good candidate because it would make room for a newer Intamin Drop Tower. I just hope PF doesn't go, because I'm a big fan of those Parachute Drop towers.
  19. Great TR! I'm pretty intrigued with the Flying Island, too. I don't even understand how it operates. Does is just raise and lower? Does it spin at all or anything?
  20. Wild Waves does the same thing. It must be a PARC thing. Wow, I didn't even know this park existed! It's got a few nice rides, too; I never knew that America had an X-Coaster! I guess I have another park to use my PARC Season pass for. Speaking of PARC, I wish they kept as much care of Wild Waves as they do of their other parks. WW feels pretty neglected compared to their other properties, like this one here.
