  1. I've been on both and they seem exactly the same. I'm gonna have to say KK because I live closer to it. But the differences are slight. Anywaay... neither of them are the best in their park (I'd say El Toro at SFGA and Maverick at CP). I've ridden TTD once and KK 6 times. All i can say is KK is 10 times better with a flash pass.

  2. Oooo, this is tough. I was there last Saturday soo...

I wish everyone would stop bashing the Kingda Ka. It was a good ride, a fast and awesome launch, lots of Gs on the way up, a good view, and an awesome drop. My only complaints were that it is totally unreliable and that the line is way too long for such a short ride. It almost tied with El Toro, but El Toro is reliable, has not that bad lines, and provides a long airtime filled, intense ride. I still say Intamin totally rocks no matter what...

  3. haha i just joined this site but i have been on other forums for years, so hopefully everybody doesnt hate me

Not to sound mean or anything, but I can't believe that you actually posted that in here, did you even read the rules? I think you really need to re-read the forum rules again, especially this one:

#3. SPELL CHECK YOUR POSTS!!!! There is a completely FREE spell checker available with the Google toolbar. A typo here and there is completely acceptable. We all are guilty of this. But when someone can't READ your post due to bad spelling, grammar, lack of capitalization, all caps (in posts OR thread titles) etc, that's a problem. If you aren't a good speller (and I totally admit I would be lost without my spellchecker) download it now: http://toolbar.google.com/

Ouch, sorry, yell at the new guy for not capitalizing every single letter. You guys are really uptight.... It also says "A typo here and there is fine". And okay, my post is at least readable, so try not getting so worked up next time.

I will be careful about my spelling and capitalization. But I hardly ever post in here anyway.

  4. A blonde was was sitting at her kitchen table. She called to her husband "Honey! Could you help me with this puzzle? I'm trying to match the picture of the tiger on the box but none of the peices fit!" The husband came into the room and said "Honey, put the frosted flakes away,"

  5. I recently revisited Hershey Park, and since the lines were extremely short i rode the Sooper dooper looper. The lack of shoulder restraints gave me the urge to through up my hands on the loop. not a good idea..... That loop starts at normal, but then you jolt to the side, causing whiplash do to the lack of over the shoulder restraints. The rest of the ride was pretty smooth and almost boring, but when we came into the station we were going a little to fast, and in order for the front row (containing me) to line up with the front row line, the car had to be stopped abruptly, causing everyone in the train to lurch forward, causing more whiplash. This ride was almost as bad as a vekoma SLC!

SDL was my first upside down coaster and I loved it and didn't think it was rough at all. It sure was a nicer ride than wildcat was. A good way to prevent that whiplash is to keep your head stapled to your seat. It's certainly not easy but it makes the ride alot nicer. I rode it 3 times that trip and always had a fun ride. Though the last ride seemed a bit rough to me but nothing compared to whatt you described(this was last year btw). It's getting up there in age so maybe it got rougher this year.

eh i dunno. wildcat was pretty good to me... it might just be the new millennium flier trains. but yeah ur right, it could just be the fact that i stuck my head out too much...

  8. the family should not get money. if it was a flaw in the ride then there would be reason to sue. but the poor kid died of his own accord. I remember when some kid died on the shockwave (togo coaster at kings dominion) because he was dared to get out of his restraints while the ride was in motion. although i feel bad for this family knowing that their son died in one of the stupidest ways possible, but they should not be able to sue. B&M did a fine job on the coaster and SFOG did a good job of maintaning it
