  1. Jamar and I will go and possibly 5 - 10 other people in our group!
  2. Charter member for life baby!
  3. So because the ride construction process has started you think all permits are secured? Business does not work like that. You couldn't imagine the process and what it takes to make stuff happen in California. My brother and I used to build surveillance systems for Mc Donalds many years ago and we saw the process first hand when they were building new McD's. Mind you, this is dealing with the cities let alone the state. Zoning is another big factor when building things in CA.
  4. I agree with Robb that it's probably due to permits. California is extremely hard to work with.
  5. Thank you all for the awesome time! The trip was set up very well and included plenty of wonderful activites. Not to mention the amount of new friends that were made. Thanks again to Theme Park Review for always going above and beyond for us!
  6. I'm really excited about this. I thank Robb for making me a rollercoaster whore!
  7. I second this motion. That would be a truly epic tour! HUGE thanks to Robb and everyone involved in organizing yesterday, my girlfriend and I had an awesome time! It was a great day and I look forward to next year. ---Brent Thirded*
  8. Six Flags Magic Mountain will be using a similar incarnation of the West Coast Bash Scavenger Hunt later on this year, so we won't be able to post many of the answers. I will post some of the answers and possibly the final scores within the next few days. We appreciate the feedback we received on the scavenger hunt, as we now know that teams would like to find more clues around the park, than solving exclusively puzzle-based challenges. Thank you to all who participated! West Coast Bash Scavenger Hunt was awesome! Thanks again .
  9. They were all sold out! That sounds so disgusting but I bet delicious.
  10. I must say, my group is very big this year. 10 for Six Flags and 6 for Knotts!
  11. I've done that drive many times and there are gas stations within ever 30 to 50 miles away from each other. You will be fine. No worries.
  12. You see how big Robbs hand is? You definitely do not want to be slapped with that...
  13. Termination Day was outstanding. We had an excellent time. Thank you again!
  14. The crew! This was the first TPR event for all of us. Right to Left - Mercy, Kevin, Jorge, and Marty. Right to Left - Eric, Paul, and Jamar Right to Left - Eric, Me, Jamar, Kevin, Mercy, Marty, and Jorge
  15. We were able to ride X2 only one time that day during morning ERT. It sucked that it wasn't open during the night but that did not stop us from enjoying our day. We were on all the following coasters; X2 (Once) Viper (5x in a row) Tatsu (3x in a row) Riddlers (1x) Batman (2x) Goliath (4x in a row) Scream! (6x in a row) Gold Rusher (1x) Ninja (1x) Revolution (2x in a row) Deja Vu (Unfortunately my brother and I are too tall) Superman (1x). There were maybe 12 people in front of us and it took about 45 minutes to get on. The wait was ridiculous. Once we got on the ride in the 3 seat, our row was asked to get up and move to the second row with my brother and I being on the edge. Then I was asked to extend my right leg and my brother to extend his left leg down the side of the ride so the lapbar could close properly. The employees were pushing down so hard on the lapbar my brother said out loud (You're about to nooder me man). He got mad, walked away and sent us on our way without warning. The whole event is full of great memories. Good job Robb, Elissa, Ride World, and Six Flags Management for making this possible!
  16. That actually happens a lot on Gold Rusher. When I worked at the park from 2001-2003, supervisors would have leads send the operators they didn't like to Rusher because if a lapbar comes back to the station popped open, the lapbar attendants would be fired because management would automatically assume it was dispatched that way. I'm not joking. Wow that's terrible. I don't know what to say about that.
  17. So, this wasn't the first report of apparent poor judgment or questionable behavior by ride operators. I'm for erring on the side of safety. From the information above, I would think the ride should be taken out of operation until the scope and cause of the problem was determined and it was resolved. Anyone report an issue you saw on a ride to guest relations or a manager? Yes I did report it. Guest Relations told me they will let the ride supervisor know ASAP and that was pretty much it.
  18. One of the craziest things happened to my group yesterday. We were riding Gold Rusher because is it's a pretty nice ride as always. Right before the train entered it's double helix, the laptop bar popped up and stayed up. Back in the station, we informed the crew of what happened. I guess they didn't care because some kids got on right after us and they sent the train off. Other than that tremendous bad call from the employee, the day was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!
  19. My friends and I would like to say we had an excellent time at Six Flags Magic Mountain. We felt everything was planned out perfectly. This was our first TPR activity and it was insane. We are all officially hooked. Thank you again Robb and Six Flags for putting together an outstanding event!
  20. I agree with you about Japan Robb. I go to Japan at least 2 times a year and I love it. It is definitely very nice out there. I'm going back to Yokohama, Kyoto, and Kobe in May so I will definitely take some pictures!
  21. Listening to it now. I like what I hear so far!
  22. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone also. A few more days!!
  23. I watch both of the disc equally. I think you are doing an excellent job with the disc. I plan on buying the rest of them!
