I just watched a story about how carnival games are rigged. http://www.wxyz.com/dpp/money/consumer/call_for_action/before-you-head-out-to-a-summer-carnival%2C-we-tell-you-why-you-need-to-beware-of-some-carnival-games I have always had my doubts about how "honest" these game joints are. Does anyone on here still play these games?

Anyone remember "coaster cards"? I have the first (and maybe only) set of cards from 2001. There are 81 cards in the set, a index card, and a motion card of magnum xl 200 at cedar point. I have looked for a 2002 to 2010 sets, but had no luck finding them. I have included a few cards from the set. The box that the set of cards came in. A few cards. Back side. Front of the list. Back of the list.

Magic Mountain, please get this flatride!

I was on a ride that basically does the same thing. It was at a ghetto fair. It looks like fun, but the ride itself was "meh" at best. The harnesses were hard as a rock. Looks like fun. -

I wonder what is taking them so long? The last I had heard, was that they were sandblasting and repainting all the track pieces, but that was a year of two ago. Not sure where they are going to put the coaster, but my guess would be behind the round up and trabant rides. -

Nice pictures. Did you happen to see if there was any progress of the corkscrew coaster at delgrosso's? I thought they were supposed to have it up this year. -
It was pharaoh. I have the complete blueprint, but it is huge so I can't scan it. As far as 2 log flumes, if you look back a page or two, there are some pictures of an old map from 1971. In the pictures, you can see shoot the rapids and mill race. Mill race did not have the biggest hills, but it was a fun ride. Shoot the rapids was a duel flume ride. I don't remember much about the ride, but I know I was on it when I was a kid.

Actualy, I found a great weather site... http://www.wxyz.com/subindex/weather They have a nice radar, and they have been right on with the weather for me. Speaking of weather, if you look at that site right now, it looks like cedar point is lucky right now. They dodged a bullet. -

The weather channel is almost useless anymore. It seems like everytime I turn it on, storm stories is on.I think the purpose of the weather channel is....wait for it............WEATHER!!!. Not storm stories or other shows. I expect to be able to see the actual weather when I turn it on. -
http://louisville.bizjournals.com/louisville/stories/2010/07/26/story2.html?b=1280116800%5E3696121 Looks like the mouse coaster is going back to six flags. In exchange, Six Flags would get $2.35 million and would be relieved of a tax debt to the state that totals close to $2.5 million. Also, $2.8 million in rent payments due to the fair board would be forgiven. The park operator also would be allowed to remove one ride, the Road Runner Express coaster, and take it to another of its venues. Harold Workman, fair board president and CEO, called the agreement with Six Flags “amicable.” “We’re very pleased with it,” he said. “It’s been obviously a long road to get to this point.
