I may be wrong, but I thought that the net was somehow connected to the elevator, therefore, the net was raised when the elevator went up.

Living in michigan, I take full advantage of the warm weather to ride the coasters. In the winter, we have kalahari not too far from here. So I tend to save the water park for the winter, that way I can get some kind of thrill during the coaster off season. In order for me to do a water park in the summer, it has to be extremely hot like over 100 degrees.

I do like the water park because it makes the lines for the coasters, shorter.

What happend in 19 years? Cedarpoint used to sell coke products. I am glad they switched to pepsi. You think the uniforms today are bad........ Looks like the bottom of swabichen(sp) Back of guide.

I have never been to the water park at dorney, but I hear it's nice. I am not a big waterpark person though.

Question for Rob. We will be attending the event with our daughter. She already has a season pass for cedar fair. Since she is only 4yo and will not be doing any of the ERT, does she still need to purchase a ticket to the event?

I remember about 8 years ago while in line for raptor, some guy was smoking a bowl. To top it off, he was asking anyone around him if they wanted a hit. People were just giving him weird looks. It's one thing to smoke pot, but to smoke it in line at an amusement park, is just pure stupid.

Uggg... My transmission went out on my car. Gonna cost me $1700 to get fixed. Looks like I am gonna have to skip this event as much as I don't want to. I may still be able to do the kings dominium trip on the 22'nd though. I have had nothing but bad luck this year. It seems like every weekend, I have a wedding, or graduation, and now car problems.

It's a medium sized park, and you should have no problem doing it all in a half day.The coasters can all be done in a few hours, and beyond that, the park has a neat log ride and a classic whip ride. If you get bored at the park, knobles is not to far away. A few years ago, we did dorney park, and then left there around 3 or 4 when we did everything we wanted to do and we headed to knobles for the rest of the night.

A few more shots... Getting close Shade....It makes a world of differance at any park. Unlike the wicked twister at cedarpoint, voodoo has a holding brake on the rear spike. Games midway. How many garbage cans do you need? Talon station.

Tomorrow I will have a bunch of old park booklets from epcot,holiday world,american adventures,sfkk, and a suprise from cedarpoint.

I feel that a GCI and a Dark Ride would made the park complete. The park also has a bad habit of removing a ride every time they get a new ride. Krazy Kars removed for Demon Drop, Laser was removed at the end of the season Voodoo was added, Torpedo Tubes removed when Aqua Racer was added, Hercules removed for Hydra etc. The train used to have a much longer track and take you to the waterpark with a stop there but they got rid of that stop and made the track shorter when Talon was built. Yeah...coaster wise, I think they are lacking something. Not sure what would fill that void, but a nice GCI would be nice. I don't know about that though, don't the people that live next to the park complain a lot about noise?
