To clear this up, as I said pages ago: NOTHING IS OFFICIAL! Until Mr. Jay Thomas makes the announcement himself, what is coming for 2010 and 2011 are merely rumors, and only rumors. As of now, the only facts are that the Animal Farm has been removed, and will be replaced by some new rides (most likely as an expansion of Thomas Town), Hurricane Harbor will be getting an expansion of its own, and a new family coaster will be sitting next to Deja Vu. It could be Road Runner Express, and maybe not, but the park has made no official announcement yet. Btw, Don't count Wikipedia as a credible source. Shapiro only said SFMM was going to get a family coaster, but he didn't say anything about it being a salvaged ride. Edit: ^Cooksta beat me to it >.<

This was quite an interesting post on SFMM's Twitter. Granted, its Twitter, and of course nothing official has been announced, but I'd thought I'd post it anyway: "Critter Canyon's Animals are now at Acton Santuary, Animal Acres! Critter Canyon's last day was Sunday making room for a future attraction!" And I say it might be interesting because if its true, might this be a possible site for Wiggles World? Or a new coaster if the site next to Deja Vu turns out to be for something else?

Problem is, Knott's has none of those I wouldnt expect massive crowds at either park, but Knott's certainly should be a little more popular, given that it is a bit more family friendly than SFMM. Still, try to get in SFMM as early as possible. If you do, do X2 first followed by Tatsu and Deja Vu. Terminator's lines will unlikely get very long unless there's a ton of people at the park, and Superman you can really skip out on. Its a lot of fun, but frankly not worth the wait unless you really want the credit or have a lot of time to kill. For Knott's: As its been said, Xcelerator's down and probably will remain so until 2010. For real info on which rides are down and when, you should really visit their websites though or call in Customer Services.

Because this is a roller coaster fan website, so any fan of roller coasters and theme parks in general, even if that person is a year old or a 100 years old, can join. Granted, a lot of people on this site would bash your statement if it were just completely idiotic. SFMM might be considering a drop tower sometime in the future, therefore somewhat justifying your question. However, its November of 2009. Why would they all of a sudden announce a new ride for 2009 when 2010 is a little over a month away, on top of the fact the 2010 coaster announcement could come anyday now?

Yes, the train is that much lighter. However, weight distribution can slightly effect the smoothness and speed, but only slightly (I'm basing this on my rides on Colossus at SFMM, which I've ridden numerous times with some rides being smoother and a little faster than others). -
You're joking right? You can't possibly be serious. Your statement makes no sense. How is Goliath that different any more or less of a "twister" than several other hyper coasters? And how is it "so different???" You have seen pictures of other hyper coasters, right? You do know that many of them aren't much diffrent, right? Here, let me enlighten you... How is Goliath any more or less "twisty" or different than let's say SROS/Bizzaro... Or Expedition GeForce... Or Raging Bull... In fact, I'd even argue that this Goliath is MORE of a twister... Let me make something very clear... Goliath is a "Hyper Coaster" and that's what it's labeled as. ONE HELIX DOES NOT MAKE A COASTER A "TWISTER!!!" If you really need to pile another label onto it, then consider it to be a "Weak Hyper Coaster." I just don't understand why people feel the need to pile multiple descriptors on to something that's already defined. /end rant --Robb I think he was simply referring to how compact Goliath's "twistyness" is, even though Raging Bull and Titan are just as compact, because almost all hypers cover more area than Goliath does. That's just what I make of it anyway :/
