Um, I believe the tower is made by Intamin. It's being called a "spring tower" around here and i think Intamin has a product called "spring tower"

The drop tower is going in that half circle. Also, one of the things mentioned in one of the employee meetings was that there is going to be some sort of slime station/attraction where kids can get slimed. ...I will be at the mall tomorrow so i'll be sure to take some pictures.

I heard that Franz Maier was actually at the site within the last week so maybe it was him you saw? Also, those few electrical boxes in the bottom of the picture on the SB webcam - that used to be where the electrical room was for the MMR (those units were for MMR).

Yeah they haven't been working weekends, but i hear that they might be working tomorrow night though.

Nice pics. Spongebob should really start to fly in the next week. I don't know if i mentioned this in the past, but the Park was looking at the S&S Screaming Squirrel and the Maurer Sohne X-Car concept in addition to the Gerstlauer EF when they were shopping around for new rides...i think they chose the better one.

^Sweet! I also took pictures today too but i won't be able to get them up until later tonight.

I spoke with the GM today and he said that "steel will be raised tonight" so keep an eye on the webcams tonight if you get a chance.

I don't actually know for sure when the scheduled paint job will take place on Ripsaw, but i'd imagine sometime in the next 4-6 weeks. The Park claims that they are on schedule for a March opening, but lets not forget that the Euro Fighter will take a lot longer to assemble than the half pipe...and they only have about 2 months left. Me personally, i'd say they are behind schedule so if they want everything done by March then look for A LOT to happen in the next 2 months.

MORE TRACK!!! This morning at around 8:00, workers were unloading a container with Spongebob track and supports. the track is an aqua-ish color and appeared to be track for the station and the first turn out of the station. With vertical construction finished on Avatar, look for Spongebob construction to begin very soon.

From what I'm hearing now, the Half Pipe should be complete within the next four weeks...and vertical construction on the EF should start in 1.5-2 weeks.

They are sitting in the parking lot near the main MOA sign (east of Ikea...directly north of the East parking ramp). Just drive down Lindau Ln. and you should see them. They kind of stick out like a sore thumb. Anyways...i took a couple pictures this morning around 8:00. Notice that a few of the track pieces fade from one color to another. WE HAVE TRACK!!! There are 4 large blue-ish pieces of Avatar (Half Pipe) track sitting in the north parking lot across the street from the mall. I'll be sure to bring my camera to work tomorrow and get some pictures. I'm not certain, but I would expect vertical construction to start before the end of December.

^Prices on everything are going up! In fact, I've heard that the current point range (3-6 points per ride) is also incresing to 7 points for the "big" rides. Also, the new food court is getting rid of Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC and everything else in favor of "new gourmet meals" including salads, pasta dishes, wraps, and more. So if it costs $7 for a Pizza Hut combo now...What do you think it's gonna cost for a veggie wrap combo? Although I have heard that the new food supplier, Levy Foods, is very good. I guess they have catered super bowls, all star games, and other big events...so we'll see.

^^^I agree with you about the increase in price for the season passes. I have a few friends that work in Guest Relations that absolutely dred having to inform returning annual pass holders that the price will be increasing that much. It's crazy. The only good thing I can say about it is that it's good for 364 days of the year, not just a summer season like every other park. We will certainly see what happens.

I've been on 13 of the 25...I'm thinkin not too many people visited VF this year cuz Renegade should be ranked a lot higher than where it is.

Track should start arriving on the 16th so i can imagine vertical construction will start soon after that...afterall, they are planning on a grand opening in March!
