I went on Saturday as well. Since I'm really not a maze person, I didn't go into all of them. I did go to Killer Clown Kollege, which was hilarious! They had transvestite clowns with squeaky boobs. What more do you want! Also, I loved the soundtrack in it, although after the second time going in that maze, it really gets stuck in your head. Last year I heard that Lost Vegas sucked so I didn't even waste my time, but I decided since the line was short, I'd do it. Boy did I have fun. I guess it's because one of the less scarier mazes and one of the funnier ones, I liked it a whole lot. I've never had so much fun in a maze! THEY HAD A STRIPPER POLE and this chick was dancing and this little old man popped out and started dancing with me. I don't want to give too much away of it for people that haven't gone in it, but there was this room that i couldn't tell if the girl was real or not and I accidentally gropped her pretty hardcore. I begged for her forgiveness, but she couldn't stop laughing at my re-action to actually forgive me. BOOB CREDIT! Unfortunately, the people I was with wanted to watch that show Fangs, which replaced Hax. PLEASE AVOID THAT SHOW! IT'S HORRIBLE BEYOND BELIEF! The jokes were okay, but the singing and the dancing was TERRIBLE! Honestly, this was torture sitting through it. Almost as much torture as having to watch a Hannah Montana Marathon! The Hanging this year actually surprised me. Last year I was so bored with it, and it just plain pissed me off. But this year, they really got some good ones in it! I actually found myself LOLing at a lot of the jokes. Annnnnd, this year, they didn't make that much fun of Disneyland, which I think made room for a lot of better jokes. But the ending was like WTF!? Honestly? Oh I guess. Carnevil was really funny. Sadly I only caught the last 10 minutes of it, but the last trick was freakin awesome! I'm still kind of puzzled as to how they pulled it off! PYROMANIAX was the best ride made into a maze I've ever been on. The soundtrack was AWESOME(It was a Prodigy song) and people popped out of places I had never thought was possible! It was a constant everywhere you turn you get a good scare thing, which I really liked! This was the only place though that I saw shaker cans! No walking characters had them, and I didn't hear them at all till I got on Pyro. Is Knott's finally realizing that shaker cans aren't as scary as they sound?! Kudos Knotts! But I may just be speaking too soon. Maybe they'll pop them out when it gets a little bit more crowded. Also, it felt like they were a bit understaffed. I mean, I understand it was the first weekend and all, and maybe with the fact that they made Ghost Town in to one HUGE scare Zone and reduced one from last year, it honestly seemed to me that they were lacking in Talents this year. There was a point in the night where I found myself SEARCHING for Scareactors. Hopefully this'll get a little better towards the middle or the season. Now, if someone knows this, please answer this(I know ithis is long, I'm getting done I promise), but WHERE THE HELL WERE THE CHAINSAWS?! I saw 1 and heard only 2! I was honestly depressed. Like I got in the car, and was like something was missing this year. The chainsaws! WTF! I even sat in the usual "you're bound to see people getting chased with chainsaws here" area, but nope, NONE! What happened?! Overall, I was pleased. I mean, Knott's is fun, but, this year it kind of seems like...it's below par as the past years.

Good Job on the Detective work there! I'm sorry, but I don't believe that phone call one bit. I HIGHLY DOUBT Six Flags would EVER ever ever give away information like that to GP! Unless you told them you were from like...The White House, I highly doubt they would tell you. They haven't even had a press release. I remember that Mark Shapiro had mentioned something earlier this year, but come on. That's just silly. Now, as for this whole additional charge for the mazes. So, if you don't WANT to go in the mazes, you don't have to pay this additional charge? You can still just go to the park all day, and go to FF at night, and not worry about paying extra? Oh and also, I know that a lot of parks don't have re-entry for their Halloween events(Knott's and Universal are very strict on this rule), is FF the same? Because I was planning on taking a nap in my car and coming back for FF.

I LOVE that USF chose Bloody Mary as their icon this year. I remember having ulimate fears as a child because of her. I even recall a time when I tried to say her name three times in the mirror at midnight, but I got so afraid by the second time that I ended up peeing my pants. I always heard different background stories about her as well. My grandma tells me that in Louisiana everyone tries to summon Bloody Mary Worth to see a glimpse into their future. And when I was in middle school, my teacher told me that the TRUE background story to Bloody Mary was the story of Queen Mary I. Although her background story is unsure, and many believe different stories, the point is, people believe in it and fear her no matter what. USF really hit the spot this year! Kudos!

Well, I really want to go this year. But with the pregnancy and all, I wont be going on any rides. And as for the mazes, I seriously and still contemplating about them. I know lots of them have strobe lighting, and I don't know how much of the sudden Gasping I can take till I stress out the baby.....except if they have clowns in them. If they do, then I'm for sure going in it. William, I'll will definitely stop by and say hi, I MISS YOU!!! Thank you Eric for the info. I wasn't really sure about that. Brent, let me know which day you and Antonio are going and we'll make arrangements. As for Heckles and Twitch...I have a sick obsession with them, so they could come and find me in the park any day...seriously.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Why is Joey always eating Meat on a Stick?! That flyer is beyond amazing! I mean, I always thought some parks OVERLY theme their rides, but this one hit it JUST right! It's crazy cool! OMG KidTums is seriously adorable beyond belief. Are you just going up to random Chinese girls and saying like "Hey, take a picture with my daughter and I'll guarantee you a date with this man *pulls out picture of Jahan*"

TITLE FAIRY, I LOVE YOU!!!!! I'm really excited about FF this year. Last year I finally got out of my shell from being scared of stuff(thanks to working at HHN), so I'm definitely going to hit up FF this year. Sadly I won't be able to go on the rides, which I'm fine with, but I'm kind of upset about not being able to ride Colossus backwards. I remember riding it once and I couldn't get over the fact of how much smoother it was than going forwards. Now can someone enlighten me about FF. Does the park close to transition the whole day/night idea or do you just buy a ticket and stay in the park all day? I know Universal closes their doors and then re-opens it about...an hour later. Unless you buy a special pass that allows you to stay in. Same thing with Knott's. Just wondering.

SORRY PEOPLE FOR THE LONG RANTS, but I feel these things MUST be said! So, as for Magic Mountain not having many well placed breakrooms, and some rides nothing at all, that's something that employees should seriously take into consideration into talking with their supervisors, or even better, Jay Thomas himself. I'm sure that he'll love the fact that employees are reaching out to him. I know how enthusiastic he is when the GP reaches out for the park's sake. Seriously, any SFMM employee reading this, do NOT be afraid to reach out. If it's for your own good, you should really try it. It never hurts. Trainees all hanging around at Dispatch? I would completely understand if I saw something that LOOKED as if they were being trained. Like...them being shown what button is what, or how to do a spiel. Also, if I were being trained, I would be paying some SERIOUS attention, not just sitting down, talking to others, looking as thought they're NOT being trained. I went to Disneyland this past Sunday, and I saw several trainees at Toy Story's Midway Mania and California Screaming. Yeah, they were standing around, but the difference is that they were TRYING! They would say hi to people, and they would try to answer questions, and they would ASK questions. I even saw a couple of them taking notes! Hanging around at Dispatch and the person training is teaching something you know? Then do something to make a difference. Wave bye to the train leaving, ask if you can do something helpful. Now, as for the whole Trainees with Cell phones, I know that when I was trained at Universal Studios by JOEY(gosh that was hilarious, yet very informative) I remember him being very descriptive about the NO CELL PHONE policy. I even got verbal warnings, as well as MANY of my ex-coworkers for using our cellphone. Even while walking through the park on our Breaks or Lunches, those cell phones needed to be out of sight! I know a whole lot of Disneyland Employees that have told me that some of them have even gotten in trouble for checking the TIME on their cell phones. Honestly, you texting on a cell phone on ANY JOB, be it a ride orperator or not, makes you look like you DON'T CARE! Like the cell phone is what you care more about than what you SHOULD be doing. It honestly makes you look like you have poor work ethics, which in turn makes the park or whomever hired you look like they have poor hiring ethics. Like they'll just hire ANYONE! Which then makes the costumers or guests begin to have a different outlook on the place. Take our very own SFMM! Years ago, I would seriously say that I would NEVER go back and waste money on that place, even if I DIDN'T have to pay anything. I had a passionate hate towards SFMM until I saw how a couple of people put serious effort into making it a better place. They replaced that WOW factor that SFMM had when I was little! And that's what made me want to go back more! It's not about the fact that I like the rides, but the fact that the atmosphere has changed DRAMATICALLY, towards the better. Just think, if you do one simple thing, like saying HI to a person, or even making eye contact, it could honestly make a persons day WAY better! Ok, so, I'm done for my ranting now. Sorry ya'll.

BAHAHAHAHA "Weekend at Bernie's" Style! LMFAO! I've seen video of Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Paris, and it seriously looks like the best Thunder Mountain EVER! I mean, it's freakin tall! I'm glad that ya'll got to enjoy some awesome ERT on it! Thanks for all the Updates(not just from Robb, but everyone else's updates as well). Hopefully after the baby is born I'll be able to go to Paris! -
So, I went to SFMM last Sunday, and I seriously want to let everyone know how well Magic Mountain is doing. I arrived early, because I really didn't feel like standing in line too long for X2. They now have entertainment for the crowds waiting outside, which I seriously think is the best thing a park can do. It seriously took my mind away from the unbearable heat. Plus the people were fairly nice. It's a great change that they made. Totally changing it for a Family Park experience. I got in and stood in line for X2 for about 25 minutes. I will say, their dispatches aren't as fast as the opening week, BUT, they were running THREE TRAINS! I was seriously excited about it. I mean, sitting in the sun for a good 30 seconds wasn't all that great, but seeing the next train climb up right above you was kind of cool. The exiting system is working out PERFECTLY! What a great change it has made. The lines weren't long at all! I waited for about 45 minutes on Deja Vu, and about 5 minutes or less on about everything. I realized that on every ride, they were running the maximum amount of trains that they could. Thomas Town was seriously the CUTEST area I've ever seen. I even went to play in the waters (then again, it was hot as heck that day). The store was just so adorable, and may I say, very well kept. I don't think I saw any toys on the floor or any random things out of place! I rented an all day locker, which seriously, I thought was a great buy. 9 dollars, and I got to use it all day long. I didn't have to worry about losing things on the ride, or even more so, having to pay on the other rides to leave my stuff in a locker. Now, I DO have some negative things that I know SFMM's crew CAN change. 1) The employees REALLY TRULY need to keep their cell phones away! I was in awe that I saw some guy operating Tastu while texting the entire time. And when I mean the entire time, he was checking restraints and dispatching the ride all while texting. He didn't look up ONCE! Not even to dispatch. I almost left the line, because for a second, I didn't feel safe! Those cell phones need to stay away. I can understand emergencies(when I worked at Universal I used my phone several times to announce a guest emergency) but texting away while you're working? Come on people, you are NOT getting payed for that! 2) The employees really need to learn how to greet the guest. All about 10-5! I didn't hear ONE ride attendant say hi to me. They were very very very dry about greeting. The only people I remember that were actually friendly with guests were the Food Service people! 3) This is the one that seriously pissed me off. I even went to guest relations to complain. WHAT is the deal with 7 people hanging out at the dispatch. I was waiting in Goliath, and I counted 7 people, just sitting around and talking, not working, not doing anything at all. 4 of them were sitting around the main dispatch person. I understand breaks and all, and you want to talk to your friends, but PLEASE do not do it when people are working. It makes your park seriously look bad. It looks like you don't care. Go somewhere else for your break. Don't all just crowd around. 4) Bathrooms. I remember this was a HUGE issue at WCB, and I know that SFMM is really working on it, but it STILL needs work. It really needs like...an hourly check, or even half an hour when it's busy. I saw some things in there that were kind of traumatizing to me. Really work on this one Magic Mountain! Other than having to go to that STUPID Raven Symone concert, I had an amazing time at Magic Mountain! I'm so glad that this park is becoming a great family park, and I can't wait for all the improvements in the months to come.

Who are Lian and Barry? Are they the Park Managers? I so want to visit Toverland so bad. It's such a great idea of an indoor park. Sadly, parks like that would fail in the US and A terribly. Thanks for the updates! -

Robb, there is no need to apologize! Remember the poem from the Spain Tour last year? These updates aren't your JOB, you do it from the good of your heart. Awesome update. So cool to see these little parks that not many of us know about. I'm loving the Kidtums photos. She's just so freakin adorable. -

Congrats Jimmy!! I LOVE that song, and to hear it in a coaster vid made me super happy !!!(sorry for the over-usage of exclamation points, but I really love that song) Now, I could not stop LAUGHING at the Hoodie one! That was originality at it's best! The part where he goes missing because the hoodie was off was PRICELESS! I loved it! Congrats to all!

Hmm, I'm actually partial to the lift hill being so close to you and so loud. I mean, for some it could be intimidating and for others it could be a rush. I know for those who are lift hill enthusiasts, when you see a lift hill and you hear that loud clacking, it gets you pumped up to want to ride. But if you're scared, when you hear that it's like the lift hill is saying "I'm coming to get you! Be afraid, be very afraid" or something like that. It's trying to get you to chicken out.

if you look up that video, at about 1:05 you'll hear the We Are High Up part. So...yeah. I think we can all agree it says "We are HIGH up" Moving on... I really love the new idea they had with the loading and unloading. When I went to HH on friday, I was watching the dispatches from the family raft, and I could see how much they had improved on dispatch times within a week. There was even one time when I saw the train finish the last raven turn, and there was another car already getting dispatched. Kudos to MM and their awesome staff!
-
REALLY?! Because the 20 times I went on it in a row, everytime it played it sounded like "We are HIGH UP!" I mean...I would remember if it said "We are Un-hooked" I even remember people saying how their favorite part was the "We are HIGH UP!" Heck, I would even scream it out with the audio. Are you SURE it says "we are un-hooked"? Can anyone else confirm this, because if so, I need to go get my ears checked ASAP!

wow Robb, you finished the massive update! Good Job! I guess the power of Martha Stewart gave you the strength to finish! or maybe just the horrible mental images pushed you to work faster! Hahaha Good times! Thanks for the massive update!
