  1. I work at Magic Kingdom in custodial, and for the Pirate and Princess Party that is going on right now, I am in the parade as honeybucket, which means I walk behind the horses and clean up their crap. What I was wondering is if anyone is planning on going to the party, because I would love a picture or two of me in the parade. I usually walk behind Snow White's carriage, but I might be moving toward the front of the parade. I'm the only one doing this wearing glasses, so if anyone does this (and I will love you forever), just look for that. Either I have a pan and broom or I'm pushing a big bucket. Thank you to whomever does this, and have fun at the party! Me in the parade costume.
  2. Hey, Chapter 6 is now online at my MySpace and website. The links are in my first post. Here's the synopsis: Relive the final weekend of Star Wars Weekends, an event held at Disney-MGM Studios all four weekends of June 2007. This weekends celebrities include host Jay Laga'aia, Anthony Daniels, and Warwick Davis.
  3. Go to this website: www.wdwcollegeprogram.com You can check and see when representatives are going to be at a college near you to give a presentation, or you can do what I did and view the e-presentation online. After that you call a number they give you and conduct a phone interview with a Disney representative. If you have a big love for Disney, they tend to like that.
  4. Yeah, I don't expect anyone to know who I am, as I just started posting here in May, but I've been visiting this site for the past year and a half. They are cheesy, but it's on purpose. I hope more people like you magicjack also find it as entertaining, because I would love to hear feedback and even some suggestions on what other TPR members would like to see while I'm here till January.
  5. Hey Guys! This is Banks, and I'm finally getting around to posting about my online video series titled 'The Disney Experience'. Back in May, I was accepted into Disney's College Program, and am living and working here at Disney until January. During this time, I am making different chapters of this series about my experiences here. This is mainly for my family and friends back in Texas, but I thought I would share them with my friends here at TPR, especially since I throw in TPR references every now and then. You can find them at my production website: Banks Lee Productions Just click on the 'Shows' tab to the left and choose 'The Disney Experience'. Or you can go to Google Video and search for 'The Disney Experience'. I hope everyone enjoys this! Poster for the show (cheesy, right?)
  6. ^Don't forget Alien Encounter, but that's another discussion. Driving to work yesterday, I saw that the top of the wand is now gone. Pics will come in a day or two.
  7. Well, when I went and took pictures yesterday, the "E" was gone. Here are some pics. From the entrance, you can see the "E" is now gone. It looks pretty much the same on the other side, with the exception of the crane. A close-up of the crane. I happened to be in the right place at the right time that day, because I won the Dream Fastpass for EPCOT. Needless to say I was excited.
  8. "Wheeeeee!" Sounds like you had a fun time on that coaster, although getting "tree smacked" is never a good thing.
  9. I work at Magic Kingdom, and when I drove by EPCOT yesterday, I saw that the letters had already been taken down. I'm going to go and get some pics today, and I'll post them later this afternoon.
  10. Apologizes if this has already been posted, but on July 9, Spaceship Earth at Disney's EPCOT officially closed for refurbishment. It will re-open in mid-November just in time for EPCOT's 25th anniversary. Also, Disney is finally taking the Mickey wand off of the globe.....for good. When driving to work yesterday, I saw that they had already taken all of the EPCOT letters of it. I'll post pictures as soon as I can get over there with my camera.
  11. [stands up and applauds] Great poem, MrMorgan! Glad that you guys made it back home safe, and hope the trip was a blastie!
  12. "How's it going Magic Springs?" HAHA! Great update. Glad to see MS doesn't have the only X-Coaster with lift hill problems. Too bad they don't have the extended track with those banked turns and hill with what looked like awesome air-time.
  13. The doc didn't work for me, so I'll put them up here incase it doesn't work for anyone else. 10 "I never realized how beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas is upside down" 9 "Well, it's better than flying JetBlue" 8 "Hairpiece glue, don't fail me now" 7 "Why didn't I notice the name of the ride is 'Power Outage'?" 6 "Who's operating this thing, Lindsay Lohan?" 5 "Where's Spider-Man?" 4 "Am I being 'Punk'd?'" -- We know this is an old reference, but it's summer! Watch for all-new jokes this fall 3 "How long before I urp those cheese fries?" 2 "Worst Al Qaeda plot ever" 1 "This isn't as disappointing as the 'Sopranos' finale" On the CBS website, they have 5 extra ones... 1 "Hurry up -- I've got to get home to watch the 61st Annual Tony Awards on CBS" 2 "It's still safer than a New York City cab" 3 "Do roller coaster cars have 24-hour live OnStar assistance?" 4 "For an amusement park, there's nothing remotely amusing about this" 5 "This blows"
  14. Man, I actually love this ride. I've been going to Magic Springs every year since it re-opened in 2000, and X is definitely one of my favorites. As much as it would suck to be stuck upside down for that long, I'll still be riding it. But thank God everyone is OK, and that the lapbars did their job.
  15. Great update Robb! I just started working at Disney World with their College Program, and knew y'all were in Orlando, and wondered if I would probaly bump into you.... I tried to take Elissa with me, but I don't think Robb liked that.
  16. Hello to all! My name is Banks Lee, and I am from Texarkana, TX. I'm 21 years old and have been a member here for a little over a year, but just changed my name to reflect my local park, Magic Springs (maybe not local, it's an hour and a half away, but it's the closest.) I'm a HUGE theme park fanatic, and have made a couple of videos under my production company, Banks Lee Productions (creative, huh?) I'm working on one for Magic Springs right now. Aside from roller coasters, I enjoy acting in theater and TV and filmmaking. I dream of one day getting to come out to a TPR event and hanging out with you guys. That's me in the front
