Rather embarrassingly considering I'm living here, you are right I just realized the calendar i was using was a 2012 calendar so yes 16th-20th if i can get the extra two days off from work, will it be much quieter this week than that week? This may also explain why when looking into costs, the two day ticket right now stopped on the 30th september.

They've always been very open with answering questions, you could always ask on the kickstarter or facebook about it although i'm sure they'll just tell you it's because it isn't the final version yet.

I'm planning on going to Hong Kong the first week of October for Korean thanksgiving, how busy do the parks get? We were thinking two days for Disneyland since the website doesn't mention fast-pass for the two new rides so we assume we'll be waiting and we want to see it all and get in a few re-rides (plus the cost between a 1 or 2 day ticket wasn't too bad) but we aren't sure about Ocean Park since there is only a one day ticket however we heard it has a high attendance rate. Is it possible to do all of Ocean Park (including a quick look around the aquarium and see some pandas) in a day or should we plan and save for 2 days? Thanks in advance.

I think it comes with 20 coaster types instead of 15, although with all the people who have pledged $100 there will plenty of extra trains to download anyway once the artists have made everyones requests...... I wonder how long it will take for them to make all those requests after the game is released.

Alton towers kept theirs but they moved them from the original location, to just outside the park entrance.

I doubt its temporary I'm sure I've seen that style of fence on plenty of other rides to keep riders out.

Why don't we just wait until its open and people have ridden it before we judge how rough it is?

Granted as a coaster enthusiast group we know this to be true but I wonder what the GP will make of this when the guiness book of world records has been stating Eejanaika for years now as having this record.

That's awesome! I hope we see a few more of those! There was only 1 spot available for that tier so I wonder if people would still back that much, I've never used kickstarter before does it let people reserve a tier if its sold out and the original backer backs out for whatever reason? Like when ebay would go back to the second highest bidder, I'd hate to see someone pull out last minute of one of the higher tiers and no-one else had backed it because it was "all gone", with it looking like it could come right down to the wire, anybody changing down their pledge, could put it under the limit.

You have to be careful, they don't say you need a park to park ticket to experience the Hogwarts Express but in order to travel between the two. My guess is that all guest will board the train but upon arriving at other station there will be a queue line for the return trip and turnstiles to enter the park.. only those with park to park tickets will be able to proceed into the other park while those without will have to re-enter the queue for the return trip. But wouldn't making it only park-to-park tickets benefit Universal, I can see all the die-hard potter fans upgrading their tickets if its the only way to get to experience the harry potter train.

Does anyone know how the design of a flat ride will work for the kickstarter pledgers? Do we say what kind of roller coaster or flat ride we want and the artists make it from scratch for you like the ones already in the game?. I mean the game has 30 flat rides in the platinum, if over 100 people backed the $100 and above tiers which include 2 coasters and 2 flat rides of peoples choice, I can't see how the artists would be able to make 200 new rides for everyone. Or do we make it ourselves and then the artists of TPS help clean it up? Either way i've pledged $100 because I want to see this made (plus Hyper Rails again ) but I was just curious. Edit: Just saw the answer had been posted on the kick-starter comments page the day after I changed my pledge TPS creators posted this: you don't really have to design anything, it could be as simple as saying "Can you make a Scrambler" and then we'd have someone make that flat ride for the game. So for everyone that pledges $100 will result in one extra flat ride or coaster train for the game for everyone since it'll go on the website for everyone to download, a bargain considering among other things you'll still be on the beta test.

I'm going to put my money where my mouth is and double my pledge to $100, since I kept asking for hyper rails, i'll got for the $100 since it includes all the perks from previous tiers, plus then i get a coaster train or flat ride made for me. I hope when it says our artists will help you make to design a flat ride it looks as good as the ones they have shown already, I have a flat ride in mind that I always wanted to see in RCT that never appeared but my skills of making my own work are terrible, the flat ride maker will be too complex for me. I wonder if you'll be able to change the speed and the cycles of some of the flat rides, so it can either be carnival style crazy or more family friendly.

I don't see how considering how genereic the word theme park is. It would be like whoever made that old game called roller coaster sueing everyone that puts roller-coaster in its title, roller coaster tycoon, roller coaster factpry etc etc.

I'm glad these updates are posted here, every time I look on Facebook or kickstarter and just see all complaints about things that have been stated to be in the game but not ready for showing yet (like peeps) just makes me want to bang my head against the computer, I wonder how different No Limits 2 would turn out in the end if it had a facebook page and kickstarter and tried to please everyone....

Looks like this kickstarter could come right down to the wire. Does anyone know if that free digital copy of hyper rails can be bought anywhere online? I remember when I was little making half pipe style hyper coasters using it, and wanted to play again to see if i could still make them.

Everland opened the new lost valley safari ride last saturday, it turns out it's a second safari ride and not an extension/upgrade to the existing one. They text me when they went to say that fast pass ran out within half hour of opening (the boyfriends/husbands sprinted down across the park to get them) and lines were 5 hours long later in the day. They also reported they saw someone trying to sell the fast pass tickets he had to families who had come for the new ride, but couldn't justify a 5 hour wait with their children, although they said he was trying to avoid staff and when they told someone at the gate they replied staff were on the look-out for touts (I wish everland would upgrade to a fastpass system where people don't just walk up to the counter and ask for them, i've seen so many people hand the admission tickets to their friend and try again or try and approach the other member handing out tickets if the original member they approached is busy). Again this was the first sunny weekend since it opened so i'm sure it was extreme this weekend and maybe lines will die down soon, but I still see lines of almost 2 hours on the old safari ride so I think it'll be popular for a while. If your interested in this ride either go on a weekday when most families will be at work and the park is a lot quieter or make this your first ride to go to, it's a lot of families on weekends and when T express runs 3 trains it can be a people eater so it normally doesn't have a big a line as the safari rides (i've never seen t express over 2 hours except during halloween or special events) This was the only photo I got from my co-workers, for all those moaning when disney started enforcing windows, everland was only offering a 20 minute window. Although I don't know if it was being enforced, they were afraid of missing their window and having to get in line.

You'd have to ask some-one whose visited more than me, but it didn't seem that new and i'm sure I saw it in older pictures when I researched the park.

I think I have photos of that dolphin show from when I was 9 tucked in a draw somewhere from when my father had a business trip in Florida and took me, that and a lot of peoples heads trying to take photos of a Disney parade.

Part 3: Yokohama Cosmoworld This is a really small update since i'm saving it all up for the 3 big updates to follow, on the way back from Sea Paradise I decided to get off and spend a quick hour at Cosmoworld. I'm not normally a credit hunter so I will generally skip credits in favor of a ride I would rather try (I skipped the line for a coaster at Fuji to try out the flat rides) but I had to try out the "air-time" log flume, it definitely lived up to its name. the park was dead since it was late at night and extremely windy, I rode the ferris wheel and the wind was slamming the windows so hard you could barely hear yourself so it was difficult to get pictures of anything going since I seemed to be one of the only people riding the rides. I was also out of money so I didn't ride much since it was pay per ride. Tallest building in Japan greeted me as I left the station This park has a great back drop for being in the city Almost at the park Arrived (and my first ever Disko, so many parks seem to add them just after i've visited them) This ferris wheel was huge! This coaster wasn't anything too special TAKE THE TUNNEL sploosh Ok, so you've seen all my pictures of rollercoasters in my previous TR's. Top Thrill Dragster, Millenium Force,T-express etc. All clear shots, but no matter how many times I tried I always got motion blur on the log flume.... It's just that fast! I think I was the only one to ride this the whole time I was there Other side of the park After getting lost on all the levels of the park, I finally found the ferris wheel entrance One of only 2 times I saw it go round. I don't think any-one was there That ends this mini-update, I took quite a lot of pictures at the next couple of parks so i'll have to break them into multiple updates.... who wants 100 photos of it's a small world?

Out of interest how many people were planning on getting an oculus rift? I'll be honest I hadn't heard that much about it until I saw a lot of people leaving comments on the facebook page and kickstarter of TPS but after researching it, I still wasn't entirely convinced i'd enjoy it on a simulator game, I think riding the rides with it would be fantastic but I wondered if people would use it that much when they are doing construction. A lot of people said they'd donate if it included support so It'll be interesting to see how much the kickstarter funding increases now they've announced it.

Maybe I was too busy setting up my camera, but I really don't remember that. I'm 99% sure that they didn't do that on this occasion though, I was fascinated by the whale sharks, I went through the aquarium 3 times trying to find a viewing area before a worker figured out what I was trying to find and showed me the side door to them, I think i'd have noticed if it was doing a trick. Hopefully they still do that because honestly although I loved all the parks in Japan that I visited, I think Sea Paradise was the only one where I just relaxed, at the others with all the lines you are constantly trying to plan where you will head next and trying to schedule your day best in your head to get as many rides as you can, so Sea Paradise is definitely top of my list of places I want to re-visit, It makes for a real nice rest-day I feel from the rest of busy Japan. edit: Looking at some you-tube videos, there are a few differences in the show I saw, but when I visited a lot of the show area was in scaffolding or had temporary construction walls compared to the wider back area of the videos when I visited so it may have been due to refurbishment that they didn't do these things.

Yes, I actually really thought it was really well done, they seem to put a lot of effort into their work here, I actually arrived at the park one hour too early by accident and it was interesting seeing how much care all the trainers were doing for all the animals before opening time. It had a much nicer feel to it compared to Tobu Zoo, normally asian zoos don't shock me as much as they should and i've seen some really tiny pens here in Korea, but when I visited Tobu, most of the 1st animals I saw seemed to be in concrete ditches full of 100% mud and I just didn't want to take any pictures of it, in the end I got my credits and just left without going into the rest of the zoo part. Is this what you mean by the trained whale shark when they had it do a lap of honor in front of the guests? In my diver shot on the previous page and in the show I swear I only saw 1 whale shark but in this picture I can see another tail in the background, does anyone know if there is 1 or 2 whale sharks at Sea Paradise? And if it's 2 where did the second one keep disappearing too? This picture was definitely taken when the show wasn't happening. (Damn I just realized I should have watched the second show through the underwater window, would have been a different way of seeing a show)
