In my experience, the chances of using more than one ticket per coaster per day at Fuji-Q are pretty close to non-existent. (Takabisha is absolutely stunning, FWIW -- it's just a shame they built it at Fuji-Queue). I went October 31 & Nov 1. weekdays. I did 2-3 tickets for each coaster on my first day & rode takabisha twice in line early morning & later in the day did the hamster coaster woth a minor wait time. The following day i lined up early for Takabisha & then head straight to line up for Eejanaika. i bought 3 ticktets for each coaster plus the water ride & the haunted house & did more browsing at stuff i know little about like Evangelion. I bought all my tickets for each coaster in the same hour eg Dodonpa all 3 tickets were for 12-1. They let me board every second train if i remained at the boarding station for rerides. If you just ride the big coasters you could squeeze in 4 coasters for every second hour & 3 the other hours. You can be done in 4 hours, leaving you several hours for other stuff. What is the procedure for getting the fast passes i'm taking a bus out so will get there 10 minutes before opening on a monday or tuesday most likely and want to get those tickets bought asap as soon as i get there, if i know ahead of time what to look for and how it works will really help.
-
Yes because it's only 4 weeks away and since my g/f is working i'm going alone, I was going to hop to hostels close to each park but i realised this meant a fixed schedule as seen on the front page, i had tuesday blocked off for fuji q but if it was a day of rain it would just be a waste, by making one base, I only have to fit 3 days in a row for disney and the rest can be arranged around that on the monday-friday (i want to avoid the weekends in fuji and disney and friday will maybe be busy too so i think that would be my disney park hop day). The rooms for more than one people were readily avaliable and so were the hostels but a lot had curfews at around 11 or 12pm which isnt ideal if i'm getting a full day in disney until 10pm, so that only left singles.... since i'm on a budget i looked for ok hotels, but most were already booked up presumably by people doing business in tokyo by the week so that's why i decided to book now, i think you mentioned going with a friend so it wouldn't be such a problem for you. I've been told the bus is the way to go for fuji q, coming back can take a while but going out of tokyo on the first bus normally makes it just before opening.
-
^ Awesome thanks i actually booked it all up, i figured after the weekend in osaka if i check in sunday night and stay in one place it makes my schedule so less tight, check the forecast on the train from osaka and plan on the spot that way instead of hoping to the different hostels and having set days i'll keep base in Shinjuku and just plan my schedule as 3 day block disney, 1 day fuji q, 1 day tokyo tower and joypolis day and maybe tobu zoo arranged around in any order. Got a nice place not too far from the aquarium for saturday after landing in osaka so i can hop straight over to universal studioson sunday then it's just getting a bullet train to tokyo after i leave the park at 5pm with all the other people out on day trips returning and the end of the weekend, hope tickets don't sell out, would it be worth detouring to the station before i go to the park?
-
So still undecided about fuji q, was considering taking a train to the city nearby and staying in a hostel on sunday night, then train to shinjuku My plan now being: Saturday: Land at midday, go to the aquarium, look around osaka. Sunday: Universal studios the park closes at 5pm in february so that should give me time for a train to shinjuku, and make in a hotel i've found there( on the Shinjuku-Gyoemmae station i think 2 stops from main shinjuku train station ) until i leave on the sunday (having 1 main base should make it easier) Monday: Culture day and make base and get to know the area, find joypolis Tuesday: Since i'll be in shinjuku book with this bus company to fuji Q (https://www.highwaybus.com/rs-web01-prd-rel/gp/foreign/frgSelectBordingDate?lang=en&lineId=110&onStationCd=008&offStationCd=059) the first bus should get me there 10 minutes before opening.... anyone know if the bus terminal is near the main station or any subway stations? Wednesday - Friday: Either the shinjuku bus or the train to tokyo disney parks. Can't stay on resort, 1 night would cost me the whole 8 days of hotels in japan Saturday: Maybe more tokyo or tobu zoo. Anyone taken the metro to disney, it doesn't display Mirihama where disney is located on the subway maps but i'd assume even from shinjuku it wouldn't be bad thw disney website says to take the train: http://www.tokyodisneyresort.co.jp/en/access/train/shinjuku/index.html but i don't know whether that means an actual train or as in the metro, if i'm staying until 10pm that rules out the bus.

TBH most of this information is available in advance of your trip, as for weather i've lived in korea for 2 years and it's always unpredictable... i already found park times and rehab schedules i spent most of last night planning and they post rehab and opening hours way in advance its just trial and error on the japanese sites since only disney list on their english (same as everland in korean though) i found the universal one last night here it is for anyone that needs it: http://www.usj.co.jp/parkguide/schedule/attclose.html Just waiting for fuji q to post febs rehab and i can finalize my schedule Noted hooray after a helpful google translate Jaws the ride is the one down for rehab and it reopens the saturday i fly.... touch wood it isn't delayed and is open by the sunday, the only thing i'll miss is the moonlight starlight parade, now if only fuji q is as kind as disney and universal.
-
Thanks I think Fuji Q is the one i'm really nervous about, because there's a lot of things i really want to experience there that are way too far out from where i live in the UK like a starflyer, 4d coaster and the new coaster so i really hope weather and rehab schedules arre kind to me. Same with universal though i'm a huge BTTF fan so praying that it isn't on rehab that week.

Thanks for such a speedy response, i will probably go to Tokyo and do a culture day on the monday then, that way I can find the hostel and hopefully the hostel owner can book me onto the shuttle bus in the morning to Fuji-Q, i'm assuming that's the way to get there by opening. Out of interest why is it so important for opening, can i buy fastpasses there for extra money or is it like the disney system where you can collect one and get another later on? I also thought maybe train up to near fuji sunday night, staying in a hostel and on to tokyo after the park..... Universal i think i will definately get the pass, because if i can leave earlier i can go to tokyo that night instead of in the morning hopefully, and it will give me more time to try and get the shuttle bus to fuji q sorted. Disney, i really do like disney so definately pencil that in as 3 days, i want to see fantasmic after seeing Robb's pictures so yes probably 3 days to see everything. Joypolis, i thought there was one in Osaka too must have been mistaken but that's ok i'll see about fitting it in on my culture day for the monday if i need to make base and sort out the bus 1st. Saturday: Land, aquarium etc. Sunday: Universal Monday: make base in tokyo, culture day, maybe joypolis Tuesday: Fuji Q Wednesday-Friday: Disney Saturday: Tokyo tower and sights around Tokyo, i hear Tobu zoo can be done in half a day, so maybe, maybe if i can squeeze it in i'll trek out. Sunday: Fly home Again if anyone knows cheap hostels/hotels near disney or in Osaka please let me know

So I've been working in Korea as many of you know from my yearly reports from Lotte World and Everland, and I just found out from my boss i have feb 25th to march 4th off as a holiday for resigning with my school, i've always wanted to do Japan but i've experienced 1st hand what queues in asian theme parks can be like on a weekend/holidays are like so I held off but this is the only chance I have to do some time off peak (japan doesnt have school holidays at the start of march do they?) Because i'm based in Korea i can also fly into/from Osaka, so originally I thought i could land in Tokyo, then maybe trek out to osaka for friday-sunday at the end, but after checking out the ride rehab times for disney i found out that journey to the centre of the earths rehab ends february 28th, so i figured i'd switch it and fly into osaka and fly out from tokyo back to Korea, i do also want to do some culture sites and i've always wanted to do Georgia aquarium, but i figured i could settle for osakas instead. I should also point out i will probably stay in hostels/cheap hotels since Japan is going to be expensive, any reccomendations would be nice before i book those up next week. I'm still trying to map it out because i only found out last minute i get vacation and the longer i wait the more expensive flights are, but i wanted to get everyones more experienced opions and recommendations. Saturday: Fly out to Osaka, if i land early enough (should be around midday with the flight i'm looking at) i may stash my bag in a train locker and do the aquarium and explore osaka on this day, i know it's a weekend but i don't mind crowds so i think it'd be ok to do it on this day. Might look into doing joypolis this day if i have time Sunday: Universal studios, i couldn't find a rehab schedule because i would love to experience BTTF and Jaws, worried about getting it all done in a day, which was why i was considering monday but if i buy those magic 7 passes they sell at the park it should be ok.... i think it's not too far from the aquarium area so i may look for a hostel near there so i can just hop the subway. If not i'll maybe do the aquarium sunday and this on the monday Anyone know if the spiderman in japan will be closed for the same upgrade as florida? Monday: Here's where i'm not sure, i'd love to try fuji-q on a weekday and see how much i can get done but i'm not sure whether to try and get there by train/subway from osaka then trek onto tokyo or if it'd be easier to go to tokyo find my hostel, have my culture day in tokyo on this day and head onto fuji q the tuesday by shuttle bus from tokyo. Anyone been from Osaka before? I'm also tempted to get a late train to tokyo from osaka on sunday night after universal in this case. Tuesday/wednesday onwards: I was just wondering how many days i should do in the two disney parks, on a weekday what are the chances of getting one done in each day or should i take 3 days, i planned for 3 and to buy a park hopper ticket for the 3rd day but if it could be done in two i would maybe fit a trip in to a park or 2 in tokyo, and if anyone knew somewhere cheap near the area to stay? Friday: If i do follow the above and do Fuji Q on the monday, then i will try and fit in Tobu zoo, if not i'll save it for if i ever make a return journey. Saturday: culture and tokyo tower day, see some temples before i fly home sunday morning. All critisism and opinions welcome.

You make it an all-in-one card/pass. You need it to enter any building within the park (shows/rides/restaurants/restrooms) or the red warning lights go off. Problem solved. I have to agree, wristbands fine but tickets can be an issue, i have a season pass for both Lotte World and Everland and you have to show it at every ride since they also offer entry only passes for people who don't want to ride... not so bad when the season passes are on lanyards but the amount of times people don't realise or forget between rides and have to spend 2 minutes searching their pockets and wallets before they can enter each queue/show does hold up the lines a bit. -

I'm sure it must have rehab at some point but whenever i've been it's been open, some weather conditions force it to shut but once the snow melts off the track i'm pretty sure it runs even if the ground is still covered, Everlands pretty good with preparing for the weather, all through the summer they had giant humidifiers fanning water everywhere, they prepare well for all weather. Wasn't sure about making a topic for this since it isn't that huge a development but since no-ones mentioned it thought i'd post what's new at Everland for 2011. They're converting the old theater into a new 3D movie based on Pororo scheduled to open in June. In other news Eagles Fortress is still sitting there with the sign saying under refurbishment, absolutely no change since the day it closed. I love Everland but I'm starting to think the ride may just be abandoned and left to rot. Let's not forget the old alpine slides charlift is still sitting there since T-express opened and when the jet coaster was removed they left in the concrete base and dropped some temporary kids rides that are still there 5 years later. Speaking of also sort of new for this year the big wheel that was under maintanance all of last year has now closed down for good, it's being used as a memorial attraction now this year with a poster advertizing it's history and where you can pose in one of the carriages. -
The millions of Koreans that rode it between 1992 and 2009? Do their childhood memories not count for anything? Remember, Everland is a year-round park. I'm sure a lot of people rode that coaster during those 17 years and I've got to think that ONE of them has some sort of memory about it. --Robb Funny you mention that because I have asked my students about this and generally the answer is yes it was a great ride and it's a shame it shut down but T-express opened on the other side of the park so they are happy to keep going to Everland for that. People don't even seem bothered that it's been left with a note saying being refurbished for 2 years although my adult students tell me there is now a new sign saying its being replaced (don't hold me to that until i've gone out to check it myself later this week - work schedule permitting) and even though the rollercoaster community wants it saved the Koreans (the people who actually visit this park 3-4 times a year) are more than happy for it to go if it means something new and different. I think the best lesson to be learned is at the very bottom of http://www.savethebigdipper.com Oh we are saving the Blackpool big dipper, I thought this was all about another big dipper, in that case this is a completely noble cause... i'm sending you my credit card details right now by pm Robb, a website with one picture of a big dipper is obviously made with confidence. I feel with this donation I can now consider myself a director of this project however as a resident of Korea, I am the most instrumental resource in this project actually happening. While I will not be able to involve myself fully because of my location and other obligations, I will contribute to the project in any way that I can, such as answering e-mails and questions. Seoul Land: I'm really not sure what to make of this park, it cost almost the same as Everland and Lotte World yet i'm not quite sure what you get for your money, we popped in after a visit to the zoo next door and where done after two hours. I get the feeling with some area that are landscaped and themed they wan't to compete with the two big boys but then the rest of the park was just some random ridees plonked down anywhere they could. Whereas the other two parks had multi hour waits at different points due the summer holidays (the one week all kids are off at the same time) this park was completely dead... how is it surviving? I wasn't going to post the pictures since there was a storm that meant most of the rides were closed and the pictures didn't come out too well but i figured there aren't too many pictures of the park so i'd share them anyway. Welcome to the ghetto Looks pretty enough Still fooling me Main street Yay its really a disney TR No really, tommorow land, it is disney Seoul Lands number 1 attraction is the sex education center.... Park index love Snigger flying carpet, although i still feel sorry for my co-teachers who live in the apartment block called Eileen's Garden. Made for a funny English lesson though, I live in.... Bredan Fraiser speaks really good Korean when he's in 4D 5d: one of the most messed up "family" rides i will ever experience 3d: Seoul Land has all the d's here Lives up to its name Yes this ride really is haunted. TPR doesn't lie Glad to see they cleaned up the grafitti since TPR was last here. Water car or not? It only has a one car operation, how can it be different? Oh I see sprinklers come on along the ride when it's the wet car Take the tunnel! More park index love X flyer closed due to the storm Ouch, Ouch, Ouch! 1st time seeing one of these in Korea Interesting ride The map says mouse coaster but this doesn't look like a mouse.... I'm sure this car has just been ripped off the black hole 2000 ride I think I saw this thing go around once after getting the credit.

Everland Part 2: New since my last visit..... Toliet using sea lions..... Boat riding and..... .....Zip lining otters Making the great escape These guys really did piss off the ear fairy Still waiting on that kid Everland upgraded their safari ride this year.... it now includes tigers.... ......white tigers (check out the ride vehicle in the background).... .....mini giraffes..... .....Zeeebras.... .....dead lions.... .... and bears. I'll end the Everland update with T express pictures Through the trees

Not much to say about Everland really, that place always seems to be well managed and tidy. Every staff member seems to bend over backwards for you and the ride operations is always great. Definately check out the night parade and fireworks if you visit. I really do l ove this park. Everlands theme this month is Summer Splash The trees changed since last time, its sprouted dolphins Trying to be arty The show sure did have a lot of water, I watched from afar after seeing the cannons shooting water 30ft high These were all over the park, an absolute life saver in Koreas summer humidity Absolute no change here to signify that its demise is coming Not a nail out of place since the last visit Hurricane Happy riders Park index love Water also returned to this ride now we've had rain in Korea It runs a pretty insane cycle More index love Definately better than the old ranger that used to sit here. I still don't think its the real deal though, i can't see mondial written on it anywhere, someone correct me if i'm wrong It doesn't feel like the same ride as all the other top scans that i've been on, even on their tamest the everland one feels less out of control than those. This ride really sucks Again trying to be arty Look what I see.... A Dan friendly rapids ride
-
Lotte World Part 2, Everland to follow: More Index love Dropped just as I lined up my shot Love the difference between the boyfriend and girlfriends reactions Tried the back seat this time round even though my front seat ride bashed me around. Was pretty brutal Closed, oh well I rode last time I didn't know Jeff was visiting Korea AKA Tilty Teacups The angle can make these seriously spin Log Flume, it's amazing how they built a whole indoor rapid ride on the 3rd floor but the log flume pretty much got shoehorned in as a figure of 8 in the back corner 120 minute wait for this drop and another There's a lady at the top of the drop who sits and waves at you and checks your sitting down, I want her job. I got donkey faced Lotte World is quite pretty at night
-
So as anyone who read my last trip report, I had less than great opions of Lotte World on my last visit there. However taking Elissa's advice of giving it another try on a day when its not hell on earth. So we set out to make it for opening time before the park started to fill (the koreans love the cheaper afternoon tickets). Although this day was still quite busy i'm really glad I took Elissa's advice (and to try Atlantis when the water was actually there), although the issue of making people queue outside the actual queue lines is still an issue, there seemed to be a lot more ropes to try and keep it controlled this time and you could actually locate where the queues began this time around. The queues though busy were managable and I came away with a 10x better experience than my 1st trip. The only issue that still really remains is the queue jumping. Although it happens at all the Korean parks, Lotte World seems to be the most prominent. I'd like to say its because of the no going in the queue lines policy but I don't think that is the case. The ticket operators seem to be ok with it, we had to leave the ghost house queue because after waiting almost an hour with only two koreans in front of us before the ticket lady, the two suddenly became the two plus six of their friends who'd been at the food stand and our group of 4 got roped off and told it'd now be another half hour before the next showing. I also still stand by my opinion that although gyro swing is still a great ride, the black foam insulated scream shields really do take away from the ride experience somewhat, it obscures your view with the foam and grafittied shields and they also can get quite hot Anyways on with the pictures. More Lotte World, Everland & Seoul Land to follow. Welcome to Lotte World Lotte Worlds Skyline Wakiki Wave Bigger than Disneys? Every Korean park always has a theme durring different points of the year. Lotte Worlds was the Rio Carnival I still don't know whether I can count this as a credit Maybe they'll upgrade to a Windseeker? Park Index love Note the ring of black insulation foam ringed around each koreans head, if your a tall person it can be quite uncomfortable and koreans seem to grafitti everything even scream shields I love this ride, why are there not more of them? TPR Standard: A through the trees shot The water level seems to have been lowered a bit to stop the huge splash effect of korean arms from happening

Garet replied to dr.gumbo's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Not going to completely debunk this as my Korean is limited at best and so was the staffs English but when I asked in the park they refused to comment (like good employees should, all Everland employees always seem to bend over backwards to make sure people have a good time, top marks Everland). Expect another TR in the next couple weeks just waiting for a better weekend to get some Lotte World pictures to complete my trio but i did snap two identical pictures from my last trip report of Eagles Fortress's station and the sign that still says under refurbishment. Again this is only speculation on my part but I feel that if a decision had been made on a replacement, there would be some change here or a notice. I make regular trips so I will try and keep everyone updated. There is also nothing in the celebration centre which is normally where Everland puts up plans or announcements etc of new rides. What i'm interested in, is where they will place this ride.... I don't neccessarily think it will take up Eagles old area, don't forget that when T express was installed as a replacement for Jet coaster it was installed in a completely different section of the park and all that was placed in its old location was a bunch of random childrens rides on the concrete (I think Robb even said in the TPR South Korea trip how out of place they looked to the rest of the park and they are still sitting there 3 years later). Again, this is purely my views, but from my last couple of trips to the park there was nothing official to show anything (and from what i'm told Everland normally will have something to show as soon as things are decided) and there's no land clearing in any of the park yet and not a bolt has changed at the fortess but I will try and keep everyone updated if I see any change. Garet replied to dr.gumbo's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
So i got back from my monthly pilgrimage to Everland and couldn't see any difference about the demolition, it still says refurbishment but as I put in my photo TR, this was very unlikely considering that the Koreans are so quick at this in the 4-5 trips i've made i've seen them strip down rides and have them back together in just over a week, granted eagles fortress is different from the flats but it certainly wouldn't take two years. I'm quickly going to throw my two cents in on this, try not to shoot me down i've heard nothing official from the park this is just the opinion of someone who lives in korea and visits the parks quite regularly. Eagles Fortress does look in a dire state, it is extremely overgrown from the two years of closure and is in quite a state. Anyone that has visited Everland will know this ride is really built to follow the curves of the hillside and the way it looks, it would need quite a lot of work done to refurbish it, the costs i would wager would be fairly substancial to get the machinery in to get it back into working order. As stated with the reason for it being closed, unfortunately we have just had a major recession and Korea is facing even more due to the issues with Greece causing havoc on the economy, Eagles Fortress sadly needed money in the one time the economy couldn't afford it. Secondly and this isn't trying to be stereotypical, although they could market it as a new ride if it had new cars, to us it we would view it that way but to the Koreans it wouldn't pull in the crowds. Koreans like things that are new and unique, all my Koreans friends always say this and its even in the culture books I read. It's why most electronics stores already have aisles just for 3D Tvs when the concept is still just getting off the ground elsewhere. It's the same with the theme parks, Lotte World still advertises the gyro drop as the only one in Korea, same with why T-express pulls in the crowds (not just because its awesome) but because the koreans hadn't experienced wooden coasters yet. Most new additions to the bigger parks you'll notice is something new thats unique, there is very little repeats of the same kinds of rides between the korean parks, an example being the top scan Everland got, it was new and unique to the korean parks. Trust me, I want eagles fortress saved as much as any of you, I hate that every visit I can see it yet will never ever get to experience it but when it comes down to the consumer market here, spending the money between upgrading a ride or getting something that isn't good (say a topple tower) but unique to Korea, sadly Eagles fortress would never win. Rob -
Finally part three, Everland sure knows how to close a party. Seriously the closing show was amazing, only disneyland beats it out for me. i've done my best to capture the best bits on camera but it couldn't pick up any of the lasers or half the effects that were also going off at the same time. The shows called dream of Lucuin, he should probably see a psychiatrist, these dreams aren't normal. Then after that probably a lawyer since he's definately dreaming of some of Disneys shows. I've seen this somewhere before.... So south korean facebook makes these cool motange pictures while you edit, why doesn't english facebook do this? The Grand Finale fireworks The Grand Finale fireworks The Grand Finale fireworks

Onto part two, the rides, Summing up the rides here, T express is incredible and for me has the second most surprising first drop i've ever been on (1st being Jubilee Oddessy in Skegness - how can that drop look so vertical from the front seat yet from every other angle on the ground just look like a huge curved drop?) it just doesn't let up from start until finish. Rolling X-Train is just awful and Eagles Fortress is under refurbishment..........still.........apparently. I've lived in Korea in 2 months and i've seen huge shops and houses pop up in weeks, In a month of Everland, i've seen cranes dismantle rides and have them back up in weeks, if something is needing refurbishment then you'd know it, yet on every trip there has not been a sign of life on the ride, I really do think that it's being left to rot.... I hope i'm wrong but after seeing how quick they have repaired other rides and from the state of the ride (it looks a little bit overgrown) I think it may get left to rot but I do hope i'm wrong. I'm pretty sure the top scan isn't a real one but a chinese knock-off I have no proof but after riding a lot of topscans, this one felt different and i'm pretty sure it wasn't down to the cycle. Topscans are one of my favourite flats and most i've riden even Samurai on its tamest setting has moments of out of control crazyness but this 1 just didn't feel the same way. It's like wearing someone elses pants, they look the same to everyone else but to you they just don't feel right. Rob Let's just get it out of the way now.... This is probably lies. Why aren't you open? New paint job.... still an awful ride This had such an insane cycle running at least 5 flips going each direction Chinese fake, i'm sure Free heaters at the end and splash blankets to cover you all the way around, most dan friendly eater ride ever made? And I end this update with T express pictures Oh no stell transfer track, now do we have to classify T express as a steel coaster? It's the texas giant debate all over

Hey guys so as promised here is my epic Everland post. I spent ages trying to consolidate the photos down into a best of album that captured the closing ceremony, the rides and the scenery but you know what? Everland impressed me that much i'm going to dedicate a part to each of them so I will post the scenery first and then follow it up with the rides and finally the closing ceremony. So how can I sum up Everland. Put simply I found it amazing, I went straight to the membership office after my first visit and traded my ticket for a season pass ( a wise move since I keep having to take more friends back to see the show). The thing with Everland that I preferred over Lotte World is although both go all out in hospitality, Everland really trys to make your day special whereas no matter how hard Lotte World tried, the fact that you were made to just queue anywhere where they were could put food vendors constantly in your face made you remember that it is a business first and foremost, whereas with Everland your greeted onto every ride (as well as when you leave) with such enthusiasm that you'd think it's their first day on the job. Seriously you think ride operators who have to hear catchphrases every minute have it bad, here they dance while the ride is in motion or perform actions everytime a train leaves almost every minute for almost 12 hours everyday but they keep going just to please the few that do notice. Hats off to the Everland staff. Same with the shows, Everland knows it'll never be disneyland but it'll go out anyway, I've been to the park both when its busy and when it's dead but they'll still put the same amount of fireworks in, the parade actors will still put on a smile and a dance even when there's no-one to watch them, Everland is all about the atmosphere. I think the only win I would give to Lotte World is the food variety was huge there compared to Everland most snack vendors here are pretty much identical as opposed to Lotte Worlds Variety. In the fact the only major downside to Everland is that there's no non-rider way of seeing the bigger animals of the zoo, the bears (except polar), giraffes lions elephants and most of the tigers can only be seen from a couple of minutes safari ride, even on quiet days there's normally an hour- three hour wait for it. These animals should be the highlight of the zoo and I want to spend my time grabbing those pictures, I haven't yet had a chance to see any of these animals because i just can't justify a three hour wait and then trying to grab photos around the Koreans with their papparazzi cameras in a 5 minute bus ride (seriously they go all out with their SLRs here, the lens they all seem to have are huge!) Anyways i'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story however if a picture tells 1000 words, i've probably made some spelling mistakes. Rob Celebration Center.... Yep that sum's up Everland! Korea in 3 words.... Standing room only This month is the tulip festival Ooooh pretty The Brits invade Everland, as you do A tease for part 2 of this update Cool colour drain option on my friends camera on hurricanes queue themeing Take the shot Score The crowd goes wild Every sealion show needs a breakdancing drum beating sealion Genetically enhanced meerkat? It really isn't at all exciting, I imagine its sort of up there with the topple towers in the "is that it?" stakes. Everland upate will come tommorow, sorry about the wait but I went a couple of times to try and soak it all in (full trip report tommorow) so I'm just consolidating down the pictures and borrowing one or two from my friends facebook to make sure i've covered most areas and experiences of the park.
