Does any one know how far the nearest Primanti Brothers is to the park. When i go in a few weeks i would like to hit them up.

I was at Michigan Adventure on Sunday. My thought its a nice little park. I was about and hour away doing something else. But have seen ST since it opened I could not pass up the change to ride it. The ride was great. I spent about 3 hours in the park I rode all the coast and rolled out. I will say the park was super clean and all the people I talked to were nice. The water park looked nice but didn't have time to check it out. Its no Cedar point or kings island but with St you can never go wrong. From what I say I would say a nice flat ride will be great for this park.

Banshee still maybe the best ride in the park so who cares.

A few things with the hotel growing, to me I don't see why we would not get new water slides. with them bringing in more people they are going to need to find a way to split the park up. They did just make all the room for it .Maybe mean streak could be a few years down the road or both next year. But seeing what they did with Ghost rider I feel that is the path they will go down. The end of August a lot of Ohio schools go back to school so its not as bad weather in Ohio can be anything.

Do the Gates open early or to the gates open right at 11? is the best bet to hit up the other wooden coaster then the wild mouse. thank for your time

My buddy want last weekend and told me that nothing was open right at 1030. most things didn't start till about 11 is that normal for the park?

Sorry to be that guy. But I saw next weekend is opening weekend. I may be about an hour and a half away at the Race track. was thinking i may get away Sunday and check out the park How busy bad do the lines get on a busy day at Michigan's Adventure.

Monday should not be to bad. I would Park in the Back Start On Maverick and walk around to the front hitting rides as you go. Later in the Day Gatekeeper and Valravn will have shorter lines.

Dragsters Runs A lot more reliable then what you saw it. Last summer it would run hours and hours with out a breakdown. Could of been the start of the year issues.

Great report. Did you go to Ohio state? It was crazy to see how dead the park was in the morning vr later that day when i showed up around 8

2 things. First I would take them just looking at the Season pass with a Grain of Salt. I know some of the System seemed to not be working right this weekend. I also think they were just trying to get people into the park. Talking about food. I was told when at Quaker stake and Lube that when they agreed to come to cedar point they told the park that they could not increase the prices on things. The thing is they get a lot of local business all year and also host bike nights so that brings people in the doors like Fridays never could.

I was at the Park Friday night and Saturday. Friday was a cluster. took me over a half hour to get in from the causeway to the parking people. I figured that the park would of done something to kick ohio state people out of the park but that was not the Cause. I was told by an Employee that they ask them to leave but they didn't have to. Also They said last year the park was died for preview night and Ohio state day. The nice weather and a new ride helped bring people into the park. I was hopping for shorter lines. Valravn looked to be about 3 hours all night. The line was out in to the main midway most of the day. I just walked around looking at stuff and rode Wicked Twister. I want to 2 places looking for the Valraven beer and they sold out at both places. More on that later. Saturday I got to the park at 850 hoping to get to Valravn and enjoy the rest of the day but the front gate was packed. and after seeing the line all the way down to Corkscrew I didn't want to deal with people and just got fast pass +. I figured I will just spend the money on something else dumb so why not just get it and enjoy the day. It did really make for a great day. Park was busy but not as bad as Friday night. I rode a few things before hitting up Valravn for the first time. Got put in the middle its not a bad ride. the first half of the ride packs a punch some strong g's coming out of the drop going into the inversion. The view from the top is amazing. Its a fun ride the GP will eat it up. Not the best but still great. They do have a rattle but not much to talk about it or anything to worry about. I get way more Rattle on MF so if you really want to talk about it then you may as well say that MF is worse. I did get a front row ride right after and you do feel it hold you more on the drop but it is slowly moving you forward but you do feel like its just holding you. I got a night outside back row ride also . It is the way to ride the ride in my eyes. So much fun. and the views at night can't be beat. All I can really say is go out and ride it. Also for someone that at The lube is still in the same spot and like I said that Had Valravn beer on tap. I really liked it but not for everyone its not as hoppy as most Ipa but I liked it . The Three bars that I stopped at Saturday in the park ran out. I'm sure they will have more next week. A few other things Mean streak was down the two days I was at the park. they even had the Rail road crossing gates down so you could not walk over to the ride. I'm not sure if this is going to be a new up thing we will have to deal with or that the park will need to deal with but they had so many people using the Handcap books or what ever you want to call it to enter via the Exit. Ever ride I was on I saw like 2 or3 groups people using it. Never seen it like that before. I know people ask but they have lots of makes out near the old go cart track and the back entrance. Its a safe bet to say that we will see a water park upgrade next year. They could fit a nice slide tower in that spot. much bigger then you would of thought. It will be interesting to see what happens with the shoot the rapid spot. I find it funny that they have not removed the rocks but they removed all the track no sure if they are going to tie it in with what ever the put in that spot.

Sounds like that is the Big thing. Its a neat idea. I will check it out this weekend. Also has anyone tried the beer yet?

I feel like sandcastles is the forgotten hotel no one ever talks about. From what i know about it it has a restaurant in it but i could be way wrong. it is a little longer of a walk away but not anything to crazy if you want to save money stay at that one you get all the same perks just not staying at the grand daddy hotel.

I will be going that weekend i was hoping it would be low key but it seems like that are making a big deal.

I have been trying to figure out Valravn World Premiere Weekend. Has any information been post about it is. Do you just by a normal ticket or is this a Special ticket event?

This could get more people in to the park to see him one last time. This is sad news glad i got to see him last summer.

I love Animal Kingdom, and can't wait to see the new show and maybe get a few night rides in!

This hits me in the feels! I really wish Cedar fairs would sell it, and someone could bring some of the Charm back to it. I know this will not happen!

interested to see what they do with this spot of land. It would be awesome if someone could make an old log ride modern for the Space- son of white water landing.
