I actually used a lot of the clams I had built up to speed up some of the 4 hour tasks to get more shots. I ended up with just over 90K, but couldn't justify buying clams to get the King Butt character.

Today's update wraps up the 2014 Scandi Trip, Linnanmaki! Hope you have enjoyed following along. Now on to the photos! Our day at Linnanmaki starts with a ride on their classic Scenic Railway coaster! There are some SERIOUS moments of airtime on Linnanmaki's wooden roller coaster! To give you an idea of how much airtime the Scenic Railway has, here's a before and during airtime pic! We have 5 rides for ERT open including unbalanced Kirnu rides! Getting prepared for one of the wettest water coasters ever created! You don't just ride Vonkaputous, you survive it!!! Somewhere under all that water is a boat! Good luck guys... You'll need it! Garbles loves powered coasters! Beautiful weather and fun rides at Linnanmakifi close out the TPR Scandi Tour! We all know what a female peacock is, right? This Huss Booster was insane! I think I flipped about 20 times on it!!! How is it that Finland has TWO "Mach Towers" that see to work just fine? Pretty sure these rides should be illegal is most states! Garbles = Airless Void. We have cow! Yes, we are all riding the "egg ride". Elissa and KidTums in the front of the mine train powered coaster! Photos from the top of a Sky Loop are always a crowd pleaser! "I am holding up this monorail track with my little finger." I don't know why, but I found the name "funky kitchen" to be pretty awesome. Some of the bathrooms at at Linnanmaki were... Um... Interesting?? The spinning coaster was fantastic! One of the larger Maurer Sohne spinners I've been on! I don't really "get" the whole E-Motion roller coaster concept. It never really seemed to work that well. Our farewell dinner closed out the TPR Scandi Tour! Our visit to Linnanmaki wraps up the TPR Scandi Trip! Hope everyone enjoyed following along!

We are live tweeting the entire trip! Follow us on Twitter @themeparkreview Today's update, Sarkanniemi! Today, TPR is at Sarkanniemi in Tampere, Finland for some Intamin fun! We are starting our morning at Sarkanniemi off on Tornado. An awesome Intamin inverted roller coaster. I am taking a selfie with Ross because he's sexy! The day-glo orange train on Tornado might be my favorite coaster train ever!!! Is there a train on the coaster? I can't tell... Tornado's awesome element is the inversion right above the station going trough the mountain! It's amazing! You can see where the track goes through the mountain in the aerial shot of the coaster. Quite a few of our members did the speedboat ride. It looked pretty crazy and really wet! After our Tornado ERT we went over to Half Pipe for some more ride time This was KidTums' first ever Disk-o "coaster" and she loved it! Are you guys ready to spin? We even tried to unbalance the ride to get it to spin more! Next, we checked out the new Angry Birds Land. It was a really nice kids area! The new kids play area is themed to the structures in Angry Birds that you knock down. And yes, there is a slingshot! KidTums had fun playing all the Angry Birds themed games. And she won some very strange prizes! Damn, that Tornado train is just sexy! Nice beaver!!! Some of us did the log flume. Apparently the log flume altered Craig & Garbles' life! We also checked out the dolphin show. Yes, dolphins can play ball... I'm not exactly sure what this is, but I think it's worth 2 Euros to find out! LOOP PENETRATION!!! This character was at the entrance to the petting zoo. It's like something out of Animal Crossing! There is an iconic tower right in the middle of Sarkanniemi - Let's check it out! The view of Tornado from the top of the tower. Here is the section of the park where the Schwarzkopf coaster used to be. There is a Power Surge there now. The dolphin theater from the tower. Motocoaster and Angry Birds Land from the tower. Tornado is such an awesome coaster! I feel it doesn't get the attention it deserves. We had a great visit to Sarkanniemi today! Look forward to getting back here soon!

The amount of newer Intamin and B&M coasters built in the past three years are virtually the same. The only difference is that the newer Intamin coasters are being built outside the United States.

TPR is ready for some Speed Monster at Tusenfryd! Speed monster launching into the "Norwegian Loop." ROBB!!! Do NOT push that red button!!! You don't want to ruin ERT! The "Norwegian Loop" which is also found on Fahrenheit was invented here at TusenFryd. We will have two hours of ERT on Speed Monster! Speed Monster is an Intamin launch coaster and while it's not the most intense, it's VERY fun and re-rideable! After ERT on Speed Monster we went to go get soaked on Tusenfryd's Super Splash. TusenFryd is also home to Thunder Coaster which is shockingly a very good Vekoma woodie! Teenie Weenie... Billed as the "worlds smallest roller coaster" at TusenFryd. [vine] [/vine]Teenie Weenie is known as the worlds smallest "gravity powered" roller coaster. The Vekoma Roller Skater, relocated from Italy's Mirabiladia was new since our last visit. Had a great evening ERT on Thunder Coaster. This ride runs well for being a 14-year old Vekoma woodie! We had TPR Member Per Christian at the controls for our Speed Monster and Thunder Coaster ERTs! So things like this might have happened today... We successfully completed two hours of ERT on Speed Monster! "You know... Just having a small sized ice cream...that has a donut on top..." You can see that Thunder Coaster got some track work done! Ran pretty well for a 14-year old Vekoma woodie! And of course Speed Monster was quit a hit with the group! Even the station crew was getting into our excitement of Speed Monster ERT! "Teenie Weenie is the perfect sized coaster for me!" Of course we all had to get our credit on the water coaster! KidTums LOVED the water coaster! She made us ride a second time! She also was totally into Thunder Coaster! KidTums got to ride a lot of stuff today! Things like this might have happened at TusenFryd today... Had a super epic bus ride back tonight! Thanks TusenFryd for a good day! See you again soon!

How is everyone doing with 80's Pop Star Cleveland. Seems the items are dropping much easier for me than it did for unlocking the Cleveland character itself. Only need 7 hairsprays and 4 jackets.

At Farup Sommerland, we had an awesome two hours of ERT on Falken, Lynet, and Orkanen. All solid, fun coasters! Reindeer run!!! Falken is attacking!!! (love this poster!!!) Lynet seemed to be the favorite of the group! It's a fantastic Gerstlauer launched coaster! We had a Danish film crew come out to Farup Sommerland and interview out group! The Danish film crew even interviewed KidTums about going around the world riding roller coasters. Love how even small Danish parks have digital wait time signs at each ride. Give Craig a gun and he turns I to a serial killer! Craig actually managed to hit the target! More awesome play areas in these awesome Danish parks! [vine] [/vine]I have a feeling this is going to end VERY badly!!! KidTums loved the spinning coaster at Farup Sommerland... Elissa... Not so much... Farup Sommerland is TPR famous for having the monkey bars over water that Joey refused to do in 2005. [vine] [/vine]To my surprise many TPR members made it across the monkey bars just fine! For a custom Vekoma Roller Skater, Farup Sommerland's is very good! Tons of trampolines and things that go bouncy bouncy at Farup Sommerland! Farup's amazing obstacle course starts with this maze. TPR going through Farup's obstacle course. Some of our members made the monkey bars look so easy! The sinking steps were more of a challenge as we had some people fall in! Teamwork, guys... Teamwork! Moments before some shit was eaten! Four lane zipline on the obstacle course! Yes!! KidTums went through the obstacle course and got her certificate of completion! Riding the hedgehog themed kiddie coaster at Farup Sommerland! Doing a little more filming on Falken at Farup Sommerland. Should be able to get some good shots from up here! Falken is one of the few S&S woodies that were built. It's a classic out and back layout with some good airtime on the hills. It was getting a bit rough and shuffley around the turns, though. But overall, Faklen is a fun ride! Hi, Soupy... You're on a kiddie coaster... Congrats! Fantastic day at Farup Sommerland! How are there so many great parks in Denmark???

Tyler - Toadies

The TPR Scandi Tour made a quick evening stop to Tivoli Friheden after Djurs Sommerland. Here are some photos of the visit! The next stop on our TPR Scandi Tour was Tivoli Friheden where we had entire park ERT! Tivoli Friheden is home to "Cobra", a completely messed up looking inverted roller coaster! Cobra's layout is extremely compact and totally nuts! Check it out! We have the entire park to ourselves!!! As for the other bigger coasters at the park there is a spinning mouse... And a looping Pinfari roller coaster. But the real star of Tivoli Friheden is the SCAD tower. You drop 40 meters into a net. Nothing attached to you! [vine] [/vine]The SCAD Tower at Tivoli Friheden is a true "free fall" experience. Nothing but you and the net for 13 stories! You free fall 130 feet into the net below you! It's terrifying great fun! This is usually the look on most faces right before you drop! But the reaction is always thumbs up! It really is an amazing ride! Hang on tight! [vine] [/vine]Here's what free falling 13 stories at Tivoli Friheden looks like from the ground! Is it just me or does it look like Gary is holding on to "something?" You guys ready to drop? The SCAD Tower is an amazing experience & not many are left in the world. Check this out next time you're in Denmark! While some rode the coasters and dropped to their doom, the rest of us were in the fun house! Soupy in the tilted room! Like the old days of Knott's Haunted Shack! Garbles had only minor brain injuries from the slide! Was a great evening at Tivoli Friheden! Thanks for the full park ERT!!!

We are live tweeting the entire trip! Follow us on Twitter @themeparkreview Today's update! Djurs Sommerland! Today the TPR Scandi Tour is at Djurs Sommerland for some Piraten and Juvelen ERT! Our ERT at Djurs Sommerland started on Juvelen, the parks new Intamin family launched coaster. Going "off roading" on Juvelen at Djurs Sommerland! TPR loved Juvelen! Fun family coaster and very well themed! Our two hour ERT began on Piraten... And it was epic! Absolutely EPIC!!! Our Piraten ERT was insane!!! Why aren't there more of these amazing coasters built? Piraten is one seriously kick ass ride! It's better than like 99% of roller coasters in the rest of the world! The amount of airtime and the volume of hands up fun is almost unmatched by any other roller coaster! We popped a lot of mega-lite cherries today and that was a very good thing! The mega-lite has been called a "mini-I305" and in some ways it's BETTER! More airtime! Djurs Sommerland not only has some amazing coasters, but there is plenty of random "fun" to be had, too! Dear USA parks, kids don't have to be segregated to lame kids areas. Play areas near big rides is simple & effective! [vine] [/vine]We had just as much fun doing silly things at Djurs Sommerland as we did riding coasters! They gave us raw dough and we cooked our own bread over an open fire. NEVER. IN. AMERICA!!! The bread was totally delicious!!! It warned up a bit later and some of us even went to the water park! Djurs Sommerland still has an operating Topple Tower! One of the last in the world! Djurs has a full sized ropes course... A REAL one! No harnesses, nothing... NEVER. IN. AMERICA!!! The theming for Juvelen is very nice! Great themed queue & even has a dark ride section before the coaster launches! There are many amazing ways to injure yourself at this park... Again... Never in America! Chico Jungle Safari is slightly politically incorrect, but very fun boat ride about animal poachers in Africa! Now THIS is how you ride a rapids ride!!! Off-roading across Denmark on Juvelen! I still rank Piraten in the top ten steel coasters in the world! Djurs has chair swings that go backwards. I don't think this happens at many parks! The ropes course is absolutely amazing! And it's not just for kids! It's tough for adults as well! Can't forget about Thor's Hammer... A super fun Gerstlauer Bobsled/Wild Mouse! Once again, Garbles is having a small ice cream cone. Having a bit too much fun on the Chicos mad poachers ride! First you get a bag of dough... Next you put it on a stick and cook it over the open flame... Then you eat it up... YUM! "FIRE! HOT!!!" I feel I need to share another photo of Piraten, just because it's so awesome! Oh, yeah, I can't forget the Mack Supersplash! I really liked this one! "Hop aboard and start farten!" Bouncy bouncy bouncy... I had never seen one of these tilting frog hoppers before... It was seriously a lot of fun! Taking over the ... um ... big, black log! [vine] [/vine]This is how you rock the big, black, log! We played "pass the sword" on Piraten, until Doug lost it and was banned from ERT sessions forever! ...and taste worse with Pepsi. Pass the Sword is a never in America thing! And this is why we love doing tours in Europe! We had just an EPIC day at Djurs Sommerland! An ERT that will go down in history at an amazing park!

Starting our morning with ERT on Fluch Von Novgorod - an amazingly themed Gerstlauer Euro Fighter! Novgorod is heavily themed, a bit like the Mummy coasters at Universal parks. The coaster starts with some impressive "dark ride" scenes telling the story of the castle and the curse. Then it launches into a twisted Euro-Fighter layout. The last half of the ride is all in the dark! Hansa Park General Manager Andreas talked to us about their 2015 Gerstlauer hyper coaster. The new ride will go in this area and will be a giant enclosed hyper coaster!! Karnan will be partially enclosed, including the first drop, in a giant building covering 30,000 cubic meters. Hansa Park has (what I think) is the only double Bayern Curve ever made. Is there another one of these rides? Nessie is a classic Schwarzkopf looper, and it's GREAT! Birds eye view of Nessie at Hansa Park! Nessie is one of those coasters where you get eaten by an animal! OM NOM NOM!!! They just don't make 'em like this anymore! The Western "theming" at Hansa Park! (And I did follow the instructions...) Making our own bread on a stick at Hansa Park! Garbles! Suck on my stick!!! Hansa Park has one of those weird spinning bell flat rides. Seems a bit low capacity for this park, but looks cool! Inside the bell ride at Hansa Park. [vine] [/vine]And here is a video! I kinda think that KidTums really liked Nessie at Hansa Park today! Fresh made crepes at Hansa Park! Sooooo good!!! Many of the attractions here at Hansa Park are VERY well themed! Wish some of our American parks would take note! Here's the map for Hansa Park. It's big! Hansa Park started to re-do their front entrance area a couple of years ago. Here's the old and new. It's amazing! We are in Germany eating German pretzels! Yum! Caption This!!! In case you forget what day you came to the park... Had a great visit to Hansa Park! Famous for the "Dog Fart Coaster" and rides themed to other strange things! We are started our day at Bon Bon Land on the Dog Fart Coaster!!! (Yes, it's themed to a dog farting & crapping!) Meet Henry. The Bon Bon Land dog that first farts on you, then craps on the lawn! [vine] [/vine]Dog Fart Coaster!!! As the train goes trough the dog house, you hear the sound of the dog farting on you! And then Henry takes a crap on the lawn! This is the ACTUAL THEMING of this ride at Bon Bon Land!!! Going in to get farted on again! KidTums was pretty excited about Henry farting on her! Taking a ride on Bon Bon Land's Euro Fighter themed to racing pigs. TPR has won the pig race! Bon Bon Land's spinning coaster is themed to cats getting drunk! BEST. RIDE VEHICLE. EVAR!!! Farting dogs, drunk cats, racing pigs. These are ACTUAL THEMES for rides at Bon Bon Land! [vine] [/vine]If it's giant boobs on a cartoon cow you are looking for... Bon Bon Land's got them! If you need to use the bathroom at Bon Bon Land, it's easy to tell the boys toilets from the girls! Vomiting rat, anyone? Yes... More insane theming at Bon Bon Land! Bon Bon Land's Disk-O is themed to a giant albatross! Why? We don't ask... We just accept it! KidTums loved her first Disk-O! (Themed to a giant albatross!) Putting Thad and Garbles together on the swings was probably not the best idea, but they lived! Adults riding the kiddie horse ride? Sure! Why not? The crazy theming of Bon Bon Land's rides comes from the strange candies the original company made! Should Rick buy this Dog Fart Coaster souvenir T-Shirt for his daughter? Yes/No? Want a kiss big boy? We took 8 of our biggest riders and put them on Bon Bon Land's boat ride. In retrospect this wasn't a good idea! We only managed to back up three boats by the end of the ride! lol Bon Bon Land's "Dog Fart Coaster" has to be the most bizarre themed ride in the world! Bon Bon Land appropriately has "Dog Fart Coaster Whoopee Cushions" in the gift shop! The Bon Bon Land gift shop has underwear that makes it look like you peed yourself and have an explosive butt. Henry the Farting Dog is one of bizarre mascots of Bon Bon Land. Just a few of the bizarre characters you'll find at Denmark's Bon Bon Land! Oh, yeah, they have rides at Bon Bon Land, too, like this totally kick ass Giant Frisbee! What Bon Bon Land looks like while spinning out of control on the crazy Frisbee. Bon Bon Land is one of the most screwed up parks (in a good way!) On the ferry heading to Germany for a quick stop into mainland Europe tomorrow at Hansa Park. Our hotel in Germany loves TPR! Hotel Gremersdorf is awesome! Thanks for the kick ass welcome! They put on an awesome BBQ filled with MEAT!!! Yessss! Our only night in Germany and we are drinking to celebrate! We may actually be drinking quite a bit... [vine] [/vine]How many shots can TPR do? Apparently quite a LOT! [vine] [/vine]And an epic final toast of the evening closes out our night in Germany!
