Yeah, but keep in mind this is a borderline family coaster. So I wanted to keep it kinna short..

UPDATE 1- Ghost S&S Suspended Swinging Coaster The coaster is right next to the park entrance! A train heads down the extremly steep first drop. The floorless trains will enhance the ride quite a bit! This element is similar to Iron Dragon, but its taken at pretty high speeds. The second lift hill is quite a bit shorter than the first. We arrived at 9:30 and headed right for season pass processing! (Note that the sign has not yet been changed to the new logo) One of the first things I noticed were these new trash cans The Paramount top piece on the sign has been removed. The Banners on the Plaza Stage have also been removed. Skytowers queue has been cut in half and the tent has been removed. Much nicer views of Vortex now. BORG has made a full recovery and was running like a charm today. Boomerang Bay will be closed until it gets warmer Uhhh... Paramount Paramount Parks! What is that? :laughing: The Whirling Dervish area still stands, untouched. The South Gate near Top Gun was closed.... again Some re-furb More Re-furb! SOUTHERN STAR!!!! Too bad it was closed. After we left we went to get a bite to eat at Cracker Barrel. Well that my Trip Report, Wave goodbye..

I was there yesterday. It was a really good day to start off the season on. But it was warm enough for Boomerang Bay too be open, too bad it wasn't P.S. I have a TR if you guys want me to post it.

Top Gun

Today in the Charlotte Observer Cedar Fair announced plans for Carowinds in 2007! One the major changes is the ride "Frenzoid" (a giant Viking ship that turned riders upside down over 80 feet about the ground) that was removed from Carowinds last year for the Boomerang Bay expansion would be making it way back to Carowinds in 2007! The ride will be moved near Top Gun: The Jet Coaster and re-named "Southern Star." Other things that will make is way to Carowinds in 2007 include "Carowinds Endless Summers on Ice" the first ice skating show at Carowinds in over 10 years! Along with all of this good news, Cedar Fair will be lowering ticket prices for the first time since the park opened in 1973. Regular admission will be lowered $5 (From 49.95 to 44.95). Child tickets dropped $13 to $19.95. With all of this, season passes took a huge drop selling $14 dollars less than 2 years ago! See the full artical at Carolina Coaster!
