  1. Love the pics! This ride is honestly spectacular in person. I'm definitely gonna try to remember to bring my camera to work on Saturday or Sunday so I can come back into the park after I'm done working and take some photos. And I'll take some shots of the large sign in Comet Hollow that serves as a precursor to Hershey's 2009 attraction. It reads.... Something cooler is coming... 2009 attraction revealed July 1. I doubt it would have any relevance, but the Coal Cracker was all torn apart. We'll see!
  2. How is Speed Monster nearby? It's in like Norway, isn't it? I do sort of agree that it is sort of out of place, but I guess there's no stopping Hershey Park now, is there? Lotsa questions. I got a job at Hershey this summer as a games clerk in the Comet Hollow area. I had training on Saturday the 22nd, and I got to walk through the park. I didn't get a good view of the station, but from what I saw, it seemed HUGE. I did want to bring my camera, but I figured it would be inappropriate for training. I guess having my job in the Midway America section would have benefited more, but oh well. The following link is my rendering of what I saw... http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q29/MisturJunior/fahrenheit.jpg I know, I'm no Picasso. I didn't finish the track, because I don't remember it all. Hopefully I can get down to Hershey sometime soon (it's 20-30 minutes away) and snap some photos for everyone. Make sure you visit Hershey this year and come visit me! I'm working five days in April so far. It sucks it's only $6.50 and hour. Oh well. I got paid $22.67 today for my orientation! It's not much, but it's a start. Also, at my orientation, they told us that Hershey is apparently doing so well that they had enough income/cash to build two large attractions in a row (Boardwalk last year, Fahrenheit this year) as opposed to other years with one large attraction followed by a smaller one (Roller Soaker in '02 & The Claw in '03). Maybe it's because the prices keep going up and the people are still coming. Well I gotta go. I'll see you at hershey park this summer.
  3. I think my connection is too slow for the videos All I can see is the backs of peoples' heads and a glare. suuuucks. nice pics anyway
  4. I'm sorry to say, Hershey never ceases to disappoint me in one way or another. At least it's only started recently. I don't see how a waterpark in the middle of the park helps. I know other parks such as PKD have waterparks that you can enter from in the park, and whose admission is paid with the park admission. I just don't see why they couldn't have put Fahrenheit (among other new rides) where the waterpark is and spent the money from the waterpark for something else. Such as a new Conestoga. That ride was the best. Or another Chaos. And now, with this new ride whose name I don't feel like spelling, is taking the place of Western Shootouts. EVERYONE rode those. The least they could do is replace it to the waterpark and rename it. Oh what a joy it will be working there this summer. Maybe I can run down sometime before the season and take some pics of the new ride. Hopefully!
  5. Wow. I feel lucky and unlucky at the same time. I went to MM in November of 07. It was fun, but many disappointments arose. Such as Viper being closed due to freakin painting. Walking up to Flashback and admiring it's beauty. And knowing that X is now being refurbished for a smoother ride. If only I had known, I would have ridden on the inside. Well hopefully I'll make it out there this year. I was invited on a trip to LA so I might be able to! Hopefully MM is well improved by the time I get there again. Great TR everyone! take care.
  6. Lighting Racers + Wildcat = Troy. Does anyone else agree with me there? Haha, I also see that sexy syphon(sp?) drop there. NICE. Great Pics
  7. That was A LOT of photos! But they all make me wana go back to Disney SOOO BADLY!!! And for some reason, those pics of "Jolly ole England" didn't really look like England to me. Was it becaaause....the sky was blue? O.o haha...sorry...I couldn't pass up a joke. Even though it was a bad one. But yeah, now I'm craving Disney! Thanks a bunch.
  8. NOOOOO you guys are sooo lucky! i had the chance to go that weekend. i guess its good i didnt cuz it was soo cooold. but i also could have gone today! buuut unfortunately, there wasnt enough passes for me since it was one of those days in spring where hershey opens up for cerain companies, Harley Davidson being one of them, and my friend's dad works there. i definitely would've gone but i had to get a haircut. oh well, looked like a lot of fun! im glad to see the Boardwalk [stupid idea] is near completion. great pics! thanks, matt.
  9. OH MY GOSH! that rct joke was HILARIOUS! my friend here didnt understand why i was dying in laughter! hahaha. i explained it to him. he still doesnt get it. anywaaay, this TR was great but i agree with what someone else said earlier; i wouldve liked to see top gun because that coaster looks BRILLIANT. a little bit longer TR would have been better but this one still rocks. thanks!
