"Please remain seated while the ride is in motion, and KEEP YOUR HANDS AND FEET INSIDE THE CAR AT ALL TIMES." From that alone, the park should win, the only reason this suit would ever be valid (which it really isn't) would be if the operator did not say the safety spiel, then the woman could claim ignorance to the rule.

Having ridden Superman 20 times on the day of the commercial shoot, and having been on Medusa 50+ times, to me they each have their up and downsides. Medusa's a longer ride and has more to offer for a long wait, however Superman is much more intense and has the airtime, hangtime, and strong G's to make up for the shorter ride time. It's really hard for me to choose which I prefer, so I do hold them about equal in my book.

Now that you ruined the surprise .... Some of the fun of drop towers is that you don't know when the drop is coming. Having it drop on "forever" takes the anticipation out of it. I wouldn't mind if it stopped working after the first year. I felt the same way about the silly vibrating seats on Mach Tower at Busch Gardens Williamsburg--the ride is better without that effect "advertising" the drop. Looking forward to checking out Drop of Doom some day. I sort of disagree with that, if the effect is done correctly. For example, on TOT at DCA (yes, I know it's Bad Tower), the elevator shakes violently before its final drop into the station, and I've always found that it made the last drop a little more exciting/intense. But hey, I guess I'll have to check out the ride myself though. I'll probably be at SFMM in August to ride it.

Oh, I suppose that makes sense. I didn't know how that worked, when the 120 minutes expires. I also wonder if the fluffy bunnies will fill up completely? Especially if the line is very long. I remember at SFMM, X2's fluffy bunnies worked out very well, being placed near the station, since a full queue is more than 2 hours. I imagine that might have worked well for Superman, had they designed loading and unloading on the same side. But that's not the case, so that's out of the question.

^Well, my concern is, people will be in line longer than the fluffy bunnies are made for. What happens if their fluffy bunny opens up while in line because they didn't open it on time? A full queue for this ride can easily exceed two hours. However, I guess we'll just have to see what happens when the ride opens. Maybe they can operate the ride qucikly and get people through in less than two hours. I'm just curious to see if this causes problems for guests who use the fluffy bunnies.

So, overall yesterday I had a fantastic time during the commercial shoot. Superman's a great ride, and it's sure to be a hit when it opens to the public. That said, I am a little concerned regarding loose articles and lockers. Superman reuses Pandemonium's lockers at the ride's entrance. However, I can see that becoming a problem. As many of you are aware, ride lockers are only locked for 2 hours. However, with this ride's low capacity, it's safe to say that a full queue for this ride will be longer than 2 hours, meaning their locker will 'expire' while they are waiting for the ride. This makes me wonder, is there any plan in place to prevent this? Will the ride have cubbies in the station?

^^What he said. Anyway, it's a really fun ride. The pop of airtime after the vertical twist was a nice surprise, and there's a good amount of forces on it. That said, the lines will be pure hell. They actually built more switchbacks. Luckily, I got it out of the way now, before Doomsday, I mean Opening day.

^If you are able to stake a spot around the edge of the Rivers of America, you may be able to sit down, however most of Fantasmic viewing is standing room only. The fireworks show you're mentioning, called "Remember...Dreams Come True" is only showed during the off season weekends. Right now, they are showing their summer fireworks show called "Magical".

Damn, this coaster's starting to look really good. Also, I'd like to note that it looks much more immense in person. I mean, it looks HUGE. Though I can't decide if I want to brave the Season Pass preview day or not. Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know if Superman will offer Flash Pass?

^If you're looking for a nice place to view the fireworks, I would recommend standing in front of It's A Small World. Although you can't see the castle, it's a good view of the fireworks, and it's also a lot less crowded than the central hub. Plus, you will be able to see the projections on the facade of It's A Small World, which are always very cool.
