I recently upgraded to the Sony HDR-SR11. It sells for around £800, records in full HD and has a 10.2 Mpx camera. A 60GB Hard Drive gives loads of storage, and picture and sound is pretty impressive. The only downside for me is that it doesn't have any video input - but that seems to be common in todays Camcorders.

I am now paying £1.29 a litre which, with a diesel VW Golf, works out at 11.6p a mile which, living 400 miles from the nearest Theme Park, it a bit of a toughie.
