  1. Not sure which one you picked, but #2 on the list above is very easy and convenient to get to from Interstate 81. Plus, it's a very short and easy drive to Hersheypark from there. It's also in a quiet part of town, if that's what you're looking for. There's a diner within walking distance of # 2. I've never been there, but they seem to do a good business. Also, down the street a mile or two is a sports bar named Arooga's. The service can be slow when they're busy, but the food is very good. If you want to avoid terrible crowds and traffic, check Hershey's web site and make sure there aren't any concerts going on. Traffic and crowds can be pretty heavy on days when there's a concert - especially a popular one. I don't think there's anything going on for the dates you mentioned in your signature, so you're probably good. Other than that, weekdays are your best bet for lighter crowds.
  2. We saw Wall-E this past weekend. I thought it was Pixar's best movie by far. I've liked all of Pixar's work in the past, and always end up buying the DVDs. With Wall-E, I really want to see it a second time and don't think I can wait for the DVD to be released. So, we'll probably be making a trip back to the theater to see it a second time. I highly recommend it.
  3. I just wanted to say that I've been following your park nearly daily for the past two months. Keep up the great work! I'm always looking forward to what's taking place next. It's one of the best RCT parks I've seen.
  4. Does the Wii's web browser support being able to watch video online? Things such as the shows networks like ABC and MTV provide online?
  5. We're heading to Hawaii ourselves later this summer. Does anyone have recommendations for nature and waterfall trails? We're not looking for anything too strenuous (ie. a very long walking trail would be fine, something involving actual climbing would not.) Also, I noticed some mentions about seeing where some movies and shows have been filmed. Are there any places that can be visited by tourists? I'm a big fan of Lost and would love to see any scenes or beaches that are used in the show.
  6. We live right up the street from HersheyPark, but didn't get a chance to make it there this weekend. How is the new Boardwalk area set up? Is it something you can walk in and out of as you please? Or, is it sectioned off with it's own entrances/exits?
  7. I would highly recommend the Beach and Yacht Club. It's within walking distance of both Epcot and the Studios. The room will support five people (most, if not all rooms have a day bed). And, the pool cannot be beat. It should appeal both to you as well as your younger brother. Growing up, we spent many of our family vacations in WDW, and almost always ended up at the Beach/Yacht Club. (I grew up in a family similar to yours, except my sister and I were not twins. The Beach/Yacht Club worked out for our family perfectly.) The Beach Club side is "brighter" and has a lot of younger kids running around. The Yacht Club side is "darker" and seems more laid back. Both share the same amenities, and have similar rooms (just different themes). My second choice would be Wilderness Lodge. It's a beautiful hotel, but wouldn't hold a family of 5 that comfortably. The Grand Floridian is very nice, but not worth the price. My wife and I spent our honeymoon there and didn't think it was that special. Very nice, but not special.
  8. This comment from the article's web site is my favorite... "the park ws fun but the thing i remember about that was stepping on a board and running a nail up into my foot from the rollercoaster."
  9. William's Grove has been for sale for a while now, but the original intent was that the buyer had to agree to keep it as an amusement park. Apparently, that's no longer true, as they're auctioning off the attractions. http://www.abc27.com/news/stories/0107/392828.html I loved TPR's trip report from this small park. The "rides in a middle of a field" descriptions were too accurate. I remember my dad taking my sister and I there as kids. We rode the first train ride of the day, and I remember that they had to stop the ride every once in a while to clear beer bottles off the track. Regardless, it's kind of sad to see this park go...
  10. That's so funny! I watched the video and thought I saw a "hidden" scene in it near the end. So, I replayed the video and paused it near the end. It's not a hidden scene. It's the guy who filmed the video. You can see his reflection in the TV. Pretty funny... Someone needs to buy this guy a VCR
  11. Ahhh... The good old days. In my opinion, there have been very few games since the downfall of Sierra (and LucasArts) that come close to matching the fun and creativity of the old adventure games.
  12. My wife and I were behind you in line to get your season pass. After we left, I said "that looked like one of those guys from the Theme Park Review site". I knew I should've asked for an autograph.
