Well, that's a shame about Kid Flash, we never even got to know it. How did it go so wrong? Glad for you that the haunts were mostly really well done. I would be fine if they continued with only four up here IF they could just staff them well. Sigh. I'll hope it's a work in progress for the new GM. The Stranger Things house may have just been poorly done but it probably would have been more entertaining for you if you had seen the show. I went through the Stranger Things house at HHN before I had watched the show and it was mostly just a big confusing shrug from me but would love to do it again now that I have viewed all the episodes.

Ah. I had a reading fail. I missed the part where you were pregaming. Your choices make sense. I think out of all of the canned cocktails I tried I didn't mind the mules. I've seen them, but I haven't had a Beat Box. Sounds like I was way ahead of my time when I used to pour Vodka directly into the Boone's Farm bottles, at an undisclosed age.

I don't like them as much either but try to buy a real cocktail from at 6 - 10 am on the way to the park plus they are only about $4 each with no tip. So it is either a beer, malt liquor, malt beverage like Mike's, or something actually made with liquor. I tend to go with 8% Mike's harder or the canned cocktails but not great choices either way. I can also buy Beat Boxes but that is just fruit-flavored fortified wine like Mad Dog 20/20 or Boone's Farm in a Tetra Pak. Knott's cocktails are also mostly pre-made and some advertise that they are margaritas made from Beat Boxes. The Monaco white cans actually taste like Monster white cans with the great citrus taste plus Vodka and are usually sold out. Cutwater will rot your gut with citric acid after a couple so I try to stop at one

you can use the Golden cake with no issue at all. the difference is that Yellow Cake uses the entire egg (including yolk). . while a Golden Cake tends to just use the egg whites. but they are both vanilla flavor . . so no biggie to mix and match.

was there yesterday for a fantastic (and PACKED) Halloween event. the Conjuring Universe House is really fantastic. Amazing job. the Stranger Things house is dull as dirt. . and the SFFT houses range between the two. . with a couple of them really benefiting from props moved out of the now closed "Buried Alive House" and repurposed into other houses. all in all, a great event, and the amount of people paying the fees for the Haunted House passes was amazing (and I would say they are getting their money's worth). the park also has multiple free scare zones, and two free outdoor haunts (fairly long at both of them) and VERY well staffed with scare actors. To be 100% honest, the makeups in the free outdoor haunts were basically greasepaint in most cases (while in the houses - the majority of them very well staffed as well - the makeups are prosthetics). Still tho. . for a free haunted maze? well done Six Flags Fiesta Texas. I'll have some pics up in the near future (we got daytime / lights on walkthrus of the Stranger Things, and Conjuring Houses. . . . but as noted, the Conjuring house is really the one that was top notch at night with some incredible effects, and one SUPER effective jump scare that has people literally screaming out curse words). as to Kid Flash. yeah. . I'll be shocked if it's still there in the 2025 season. It's a big paperweight. They aren't even running the lights on it any longer.
