The use of "PTR" - Please Read

Hey everyone,

 

It's not really that big of a deal, but when you do a "Photo TR" would you mind writing out the word "Photo"? It just helps us a bit when we're doing searches for older Photo TR's for the archive. And also, I don't think the term "PTR" is quite yet as known as "TR" so writing out "Photo TR" makes it really clear as to what it is to someone who might be lurking on the site.

Erm.. sorry, I guess this is partially directed towards me. Gotta remember this...

^ Not at all! I've just noticed a trend of using "PTR" instead of "Photo TR" and really, it's not that there is anything wrong with PTR, I just prefer the spelled out version. It helps us sort things better and really I think it will probably get you all more exposure on your photo Trip Reports.

Also, I've noticed the "PTR" acronym get confused with "TPR" as it has the same letters, mixed around, like "Hey, I'm gonna post my TPR of SFMM"
