BGW cell phone tower pics

At my old Job I used to climb Cell towers and measure them up for other carriers and as luck would have it, I got to climb BGWs tower across the street. So I thought I would share the pics I got to take.

Sadly it was a weekday in October 2002 and the park was closed.

I reckon you should be grateful it was closed - how depressing would it have been to see all the coasters running - and you stuck up a pole working and unable to go?

 

Steve - the cup can always be half full if you work hard enough at it -C

Nah.. would have been happy to get the coasters running in the pics and besides I made it a point to not go in 2002 Because of Drachen Fire and their increasingly bad operations (compared to 1999 and previous years). As a matter of fact I live about 50 mins. away and have been twice since 2001.

and that is plenty for me. (now a new coaster just might change all that)

They really need another coaster huh, they seem a little behind Tampa now Shreika has landed. Not visited this park and it may go on my 'list' if they installed a great new ride.

 

Great pics, gives a great idea of scale for Apollo. Not sure I could work up that high
