BrownStreak Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 I will be in Cleveland at the end of April for an event (I am actually moving there this August for school) and I found out that the IX Indoor Amusement Park will be running then. According to their website they will have a top spin, Freak Out (what is that?), a Skater (what is that?), Down Draft (what is that), and a Spinning Coaster (anyone know what kind?). Has anyone ever been to this event? Is it worth it? I went to an indoor carnival at Sky Dome two years ago and besides being an absolute zoo it was also quite lame- and there were no functioning ATMs inside!
CoasterFanatic Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 This should be a good start. Dave Althoff's TR from 2005
lapseofreason Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 The last time I went to the IX Indoor Amusement Park was about ten years ago. The log flume's water looked dirty, the travelling coaster looked kinda rickety, and the Zipper looked like it was about to fall apart right then and there. There were a LOT of kiddie flat rides and games, and not much more. I can't really tell you much about nowadays (I haven't been there since then and moved to CA 4 years ago), but I certainly hope it's improved since then. -amanda
BrownStreak Posted March 2, 2006 Author Posted March 2, 2006 Its just odd that I've never heard of the rides! I thought that most carnivals just traveled with the industry name for a ride
