Leonbergur Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Hi this is my fist time posting. It's not that its my first time registering, but it's just that I'm afraid that an evil elephant will jump out of the screen while I'm posting and kill me. And I don't know how to use the forum. So today I decided to post some parks I have made to this day. Background Story Mining Village was abandoned in 1969 and was found again on 2005. The remaining buildings were refurbished and flat rides were built inside them. On 2006 they've built Bandit. There's more improvements to come... PS, And if you want to say something about bandit's stations not being inside a building, I already fixed that and will be shown on the next update-tomorrow. Screenshots the entrance/the village the village Bandit More Bandit The Water Splash of Bandit Village without sceneries and Lake Montie-more of a pond montie... Mechenical mine themed wild Mouse ride I've been working on. What is this??? A new ride perhaps. Comments, Criticism and Suggestions Appreciated Expect an update tomorrow!
phazan Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Sweet park! I thought the pond looked a little weird though. The water level is equal to the land level. Oh also, welcome! Make sure you read the posting rules of the forum if you havent already!
coasterdude5 Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Nice park! Maybe some trees... But other than that, NICE!
Luxo Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Nice so far! I agree with coasterdude5, you should fill some of those empty spaces with trees.
Reon Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Hmm...Bandit could use some realistic supports on it, but otherwise nice. I love the waterfall/splashdown on it. Just need to work on your structures a bit more (your mechanical mouse structure looks a bit ugly IMO)
Leonbergur Posted February 21, 2006 Author Posted February 21, 2006 Sorry the update is kind of late. I have 12 years old stuff to do. I added some trees (I'm still working on them) Lake Montie is now below land level. I'm thinking of adding more flat rides, and yes, i'll be fixing the structures on bandit as well. I built a new ride called Blast!!!. It's a variation of powder keg. It's themed on a run away train that was accidentally blasted off by a explosion at the Acme Dynamite Factory. And I'm still keeping the "ugly" building for the mechanical mouse. SCREENSHOTS Overview of Bandit New Lake Montie Finished Mechanical Mouse OHHHH 2 new rides perhaps Blast!!!!! Dawson Station Launch Area - A dynamite Factory A fake track that I'm weirdly proud of... Blast!!!
phazan Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Wow! That new coaster is very nice! The park looks great!!
Reon Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Wow. Awesome-Dawson. I love blast, and how you hacked a mine train launcher! Im sure Bandit will look nice once you fix the supports. I mean, the mouse turned out great now that its' done..
Coastermaster Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 The last pics looks better than the first. Try to build more windows in the walls and make decoration there. Also use the wooden supports by the woody.
Leonbergur Posted February 21, 2006 Author Posted February 21, 2006 Thanks y'all Expect an update on the weekends
Liampie Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Hmm... Your woodie needs more supports on the side, you waterfall needs a source, where does the water come from? The mechanical mouse (that type of coaster also isn't build since 1958!), is a bit large for an indoor coaster, lower the roof and don't use steel for it. It doesn't look realistic....
l3ite_me1313 Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Hmm..i'm not likign this park too much. First of all, I think the wood/mining theme is wayy overused, and it's not unique at all. But if you can theme it good, it might look nice. But in your case... your themeing isn't that good pal, sorry to say. Try adding more detail to your architecture to avoid that blocky look. Try adding blaconies and windows. Use your imagination. And try different syles of roofing. Check out my Egyptian park here (Even though it's not finished, lol) and look at some of my buildings.
