Shockwave Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 First - sorry about the rubbish quality of the pictures, they were taken from my phone. OK, so I arrived in Manchester for a night, when I spotted a few rides in a car park next to the club! Kinda random, as it wasn't there 36 hours ago. I had a wonder, didn't go on any rides, but took a few photos of what was there. And look who I found! Hope you enjoyed this little bit of light relief. OK, enough of the parking lot - time for the club! The Topspin wasn't working today. Ooh, a crazy flipping ferris wheel thing! Which I skipped. It's a Skyflyer! Aww, even a ride for the kids! Yes, there are a few out even at midnight on Friday. Dunno what this ride is called. Like a Magic Carpet but you face sideways. ...which looks a lot better when it's working! They had a Round-up... It looks a bit crappy from here. Still, better go take a look, just for a laugh! Just pulled up outside the club. WTF is all this?
Louise Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 ^ I'm like constantly jealous of Polly's hair. Damn my curls!
Ed Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Tresemme/GHD straightners Lou. Sort out the curls! I might have to pop-up and take a look sometime at the fair. If it's still there.
viking86 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Ooh, a crazy flipping ferris wheel thing! Which I skipped. That is an Eyerly Rock-o-Plane. I rode one of those 1 1/2 years ago. Its really uncomfortable for your neck and back, but its awesome at the same time. It produces some serious hangtime aswell as good positive G-forces.
socalMAN123 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I've seen many of these. They're actually pretty fun if they're full size carnivals. But if they have like three rides, no point wasting your money. ---Brent 8)
Mystery Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Dunno what this ride is called. Like a Magic Carpet but you face sideways. It's a Miami Or a Trip, as it is called over here
