The Angry Darren Mullins
March 12, 2017: Fenggangyuan Longshan Park I went to Dongguan on this date to visit Fenggangyuan Longshan Park. Upon arrival, I noticed that the mouse coaster had been removed recently. It was in one of two areas that featured amusement rides here. This area now has no rides. I walked over to the second rides area where I found a decent crowd of people enjoying the park. The have a twin helix powered coaster here that is a mirror image of the other ones commonly found throughout China. The ride package here also includes a Beston Top Spin knockoff that is not in service. Other than the powered coaster being a mirror image of the other powered coasters, Fenggangyuan Longshan Park's ride lineup does not bring anything different to the amusement park scene in China and is best enjoyed as a local park built for local families in a working class area. I am at Fenggangyuan Longshan Park in Dongguan. I am going to ride another Chinese mouse coaster today. Okay.....so I will not ride another Chinese mouse coaster today. The madness continues as this damned thing is the first thing to greet me when I arrive at the second ride area in the park. These are very common in Chinese parks. I have to include the bog standard carousel in this TR. The powered coaster is still here. This one is a mirror image of the common twin helix powered coaster. This one had lap bars that made anyone over 50 kg feel like a fat arse. Here is the paratrooper ride to close out the TR.
