Nrthwnd
So, I just came up with this, checked SEARCH (nothing came up for me) and then figured, why not? This thread is devoted to those interesting and sometimes NOT interesting, or plainly "WTF were they thinking" kind of Mountain Range, in their park. As decoration, and some times as part of an attraction itself, I seem to remember. There are a few obvious ones, Carsland Range in DCA; Dudley & the gang in Islands of Adventure; LEGOlands here and there around the world; soon-to-be's PANDORA's spectacular entry Range.... I'm posting one of these, for starting this off: LegoLand in Billund, Denmark. I was there, during the 2014 TPR Tour of Scandinavia. And got a couple of shots to show, as examples, here. Now this is what we all know, more or less. This is beside LL's newest (at the time) attraction...Ghost House. Great attraction. Everybody enjoyed it, I remember. But opposite this LEGO creation.... ...was this one. Of Geronimo, I am guessing. But still, very impressive and so different, from "the usual" thing. (See above photo.) Nrthwnd
Oh, I forgot. I actually wanted to stop this one, before it's even suggested, so.... THIS v IS v NOT v A v MOUNTAIN V OR V A RANGE! Sadly, She is about to leave (or has already left?) Selva Magica park, in Mexico. )o: TPR 2013 Mexico Tour. She will be remembered though. And never forgotten. No matter how hard we try to. Nrthwnd
And for my final obvious... THIS IS A MOUNTAIN, CHECK. WE ALL KNOW THIS.... (Sarcastic, sorry, but I'm old and bitchy.) But please post neat shots you have of Mt. Prometheus. Burping fire or not. All photos most welcome! My David caught Mt.P burping and belching up massive fire. It was Awesome! From the TPR 2013 Japan Tour.
Nrthwnd
Although I have never been to Islands of Adventure, I love all the theming and stuff they have done throughout all of the "off-shore islands" etc. This is especially true of Dudley Do-Right's RIPSAW FALLS, and that great Rushmore-style mountain of all the main characters, including Dudley's faithful horse, Horse.
