Imagineer Josh Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Hey guys... In early June next year, I will be visiting Canada's Wonderland for the first time. What rides would you recommend, and what are some tips for spending a day at the park? I want to get in as many coasters as possible, with the shortest lines possible. So, can anyone help?
Imagineer Josh Posted January 10, 2016 Author Posted January 10, 2016 Sorry for double post, but does anyone have tips?
canadianparkfan Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 If the park is crowded, I'd suggest getting a fast pass. If not, you may not need it. Be sure to ride guardian first, then head to either the left or right side of the park where the b&ms are. The lines will get crazy long crazy fast for guardian due to its low capacity. Other than that, can't really give much more advice, as I haven't been to CW in the past few years. PS: There's a Canada's Wonderland Discussion forum on this site, where you'll be able to receive even more tips.
beatle11 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 In early June, as long as its not on the weekend, you can probably get away with not getting the fast lane pass. That said, if its your first visit to the park and you want to make the most of it budget for it if you can. Make sure to hit the lower capacity rides first if you are interested in them. Guardian and The Fly (Wild Mouse) would qualify there. Leviathan and Behemoth both operate very well so even if there is a bit of a line it will move quickly. Vortex is easily the 3rd best coaster in the park after the two monsters. Beyond that most of the coasters are nothing to write home about so you can just work your way around and ride what you can. Where the park really stands out is on its collection of flat rides. If you like flats you have many to choose from.
