LiftThrill
Heyo TPR! I got back from Dallas yesterday with way more pictures than I need, but I had a ton of fun and boosted my credits, so it was totally worth it. I ended up with 141 pictures total but some of them weren't good enough. Friday Killing time in TPS before going to bed. Saturday Random stuff on the way to Dallas Buc-ee's billboard on the way to Dallas Wait, let's stop for breakfast! Everything is better with more bacon... even bacon! Oh, and pancakes, too. I got a pack of Wrigley's, too. This wouldn't be notable, except for the flavor in each stick of gum here lasted a really, really long time. Like, 5 or 10 minutes before it's flavorless. You can see La Vibora from the parking lot entrance. Hi La Vibora!!!! Titan looks really impressive from the parking lot. This is really big. Look, it's bigger than my size 12 shoes! The ground is wet since there's no drainage in the parking lot. I see you, La Vibora! I see you too, NTaG! The weather doesn't like me Of course it starts raining right when we get into the park. Since we can't ride anything because of the rain, let's check out some of the random decorations! We don't have Fanta Orange at Fiesta Texas! You can see NTaG. It's pretty Since the rain stopped, we started heading to Titan, but the whole time I was thinking about NTaG. I'm very jealous of these people. Titan's trains are shiny. Titan had a fast lift hill, a great first drop and a fun turnaround, but there was only one airtime hill (a weak one at that) and the helices give you a headache if you're not prepared for them. Ahh, now here's a real roller coaster! Now heirz sum reel Tayksaus thiemen' !! Who cares about theming the picnic tables when there's this thing less than 100 feet away? *jealousy intensifies* Sleek, sexy I-Box track Your average Cadillac doesn't have lap bars. We stopped to get soda and watch the first few minutes this ridiculous show. Let's hit this as soon as we can. The crowds are still pretty low... I spy a snake... Almost there... ...and it started raining. Greeeaaaat. It stopped raining 10 minutes later, but La Vibora has to get dried out, so let's go do something else. Are you open? No? OK then. Are you open? No? Well, that sucks. A ton of random people were in Judge Roy's tunnel waiting out the rain when it started back up. Yes, there are people waiting in line for Aquaman Splashdown in the rain. Let's get some food since everything is closed anyway. I can see Poltergeist with the old restraints hiding in the Johnny Rockets menu. Hello Pandemonium clone. No, I won't be riding you yet (hey, at least it shows that they're opening coasters again) Next up, Judge Roy Scream. Out and back woodie. Old, beat-up woodies look really cool with chipped paint. Oh, and cushioned seats help too :3 This StarFlyer is way taller than it should be. Next up was Runaway Mine Train on the way to Shockwave. It's a fun little coaster with great theming, but it's pretty rough and the lift hills are brutal if you don't brace yourself. Let's go ride Shockwave now. Closed due to weeeeaaather???? As in, it's raining 35 miles away? Or is it closed due to the humidity, because that's what I actually feel. Since all the coasters and tall rides were closed, we rode a weird Octopus that was themed after a rodeo. Theeeeeming These are what you sit in. It's such a ridiculous ride. Coke Freestyle, with every flavor that every human being will ever need, plus more! This carousel is right at the entrance. It's very... grand-looking. I'll see you on Monday, SFOT! ...and some random guy's hairy arm got in the picture. I will see you in the future, Roy! ...bye-bye NTaG! We stopped at some buffet place for dinner. It had literally everything on the face of the planet available. ...dinner... ...dessert... Comfortable lodging I will add the rest tomorrow since I'm tired and don't feel like staying up another hour to finish the rest. LiftThrill
I take it you didn't ride JLBFM? I would have if I had run into it on the way to something and the line had been decent. I couldn't actually figure out where it was and I didn't have enough time between the rain and time constraints. When I go back I will definitely try it out though, when all the kinks are fixed. On another note, I'll be updating the TR today with Monday's pictures.
Sportsdude360
There's a single rider line on JLBFM. It will let you get on the ride in about 5-10 minutes.
LiftThrill
There's a single rider line on JLBFM. It will let you get on the ride in about 5-10 minutes. Sadly, I wasn't a single rider during this trip. I went with my parents. Anyhow... each picture is taking forever to upload to TPR, so here's the entire gallery and my scorecard. I didn't get to do as much as I wanted, but hey, it was still fun!
