A 3 year old child run over at Bakken

A three-year girl was taken to the National Hospital Trauma Center after she was run over by a ride at Bakken in Klampenborg.

 

- The girl crawled under the fence to the jeep, off the rails when she was hit by the car, says head of security Ulrik Linden.

 

The little girl was taken by ambulance to hospital. She was conscious when paramedics arrived, police said.

 

- There was just no serious injuries to see. Only some bruising, says head of security Ulrik Linden.

 

The girl's condition is not yet known, but according to Ekstra Bladet information she was hit in the stomach. Executive secretary at Bakken, Lene Alsgren, confirms to Ekstra Bladet that the child was hit by Jeepen, which is a safari themed ride for young children.

It's good to hear there were no serious injuries. I just can't stop thinking ... "Why did she crawl under the fence?!" Then I realize she's 3. Parents should really pay closer attention to their children.
