tarheel1231 Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Seaside sure looks beautiful from that picture.
thrillseeker4552 Posted August 19, 2014 Author Posted August 19, 2014 9 April 1983 Today is the day! Seaside Spot's newest attraction, Twisted Timber, is now open to the public! After hearing some reviews of the ride, enthusiasts say it is easily the best wooden roller coaster on the West Coast, if not the whole US. Let's check out some pictures of this new thrill machine as well as Seaside Spot on its 9th operating season! A full train of riders enjoying their thrilling adventure on Twisted Timber! One likable feature of Twisted Timber is the quick, forceful, low-to-the-ground turns through the trees! Also new for 1983 is the Caribbean Cafe! This new eatery is located across the path from the Whirlpool ride. And the view from Caribbean Cove surely doesn't disappoint! Forest Run is quite popular today--a decent line while sending out full trains. The entrance to Lumber Run is filled with families waiting to ride! The recently-added Adventure Eatery is attracting a good crowd. Seaside Spot's tallest and fastest ride, Forest Run, doing its thing. Big Dipper is still quite popular, even after the unfortunate incident and Twisted Timber's opening. It sure is a classic. A full boat of 6 riders getting wet on Seaside Spot's only water ride, Pacific Rapids. The first river rapids ride in the world! The animatronics in Caribbean Cove are quite funny to watch! They definitely add to the atmosphere. And there's Seaside Spot in its 9th operating season. Twisted Timber is a BIG hit (and considered by some as the best wooden roller coaster in the country). Can't wait to come back in the future and see what Seaside Spot has under their sleeve for the coming seasons!
TheCoasterKid211 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Bump! Will there be another update soon?
thrillseeker4552 Posted November 8, 2015 Author Posted November 8, 2015 Bump! Will there be another update soon? Funny you say that, I was just thinking about this park and how I haven't touched it in so long. Due to an RCT3 update that made me lose my CS, along with two computer crashes, this park is gone and my RCT3 is currently a blank canvas. I'd love to do another park at some point, improving on what I lacked here, if people are interested. I really appreciate you digging back a few pages to find this thread though!
