Barge84 Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 I wasn't sure where to put this, and I couldn't find anything related to this when I searched. Last year I was on the East Coast for work and ended up visiting Dorney. I bought a Platinum Pass there because I knew I'd be hitting up other Cedar Fair parks. Since I live in Iowa, I'll be hitting up WoF or ValleyFair before I'm doing an East Coast trip in June. Here's my question, if I do the instant online renewal through Dorney's website, would I be able to go to one of the other parks before I go to Dorney? The FAQ on Dorney's site makes it sounds like I'd be ok, but I'd hate to have an issue when I hit one of the other parks next month. I e-mailed Dorney, but haven't heard anything from them. Has anyone ever done anything like this? I just want to make sure it will be ok before I do it online. It would be great to be able to skip all of the processing during my first visit. Thanks in advance!
JWAddington Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 You should be good! All you are doing is paying for another year, nothing else is required through Dorney. We renewed our platinum passes for Cedar Point online last year and visited Michigans Adventure first with no issues!
JWAddington Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 One more thing....Print out your receipt for your proof of renewal payment and have it with you for insurance! I do that every year i renew for those just incase moments. Never had any issues, but better to be safe than sorry!
Naina21 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 I know that Kings Island is using the same card as last year, so once I paid online to renew, it is active for this year.
