gforce1994 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I was wondering if you had any opinion on the quality of a Cunard cruise. I know that TPR has an pro-Royal Carribean view on cruises. However, I have heard that Carnival's Cunard Line is actually pretty decent. Is this true, or some lucky voyage someone had?
SharkTums Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 First of all, for the love of Cunard don't call it Carnival Cunard. Cunard was really one of the first cruise companies and is today very much about luxury and class systems. They are very nice and very different from the normal cruise lines.
gforce1994 Posted February 19, 2013 Author Posted February 19, 2013 So Carnival puts it all into Cunard?
SharkTums Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 ^Carnival doesn't do anything. Cunard was a luxury brand and Carnival bought them to make money. There is nothing similar between the two other than they share the same parent organization. Luckily so far it doesn't seem like a lot of the Carnival Corporation cost cutting measures have infiltrated Cunard and Princess. They seem to be focusing on destroying Carnival and Costa right now.
gforce1994 Posted February 19, 2013 Author Posted February 19, 2013 Costa's being destroyed? I thought they were already dead in the water. Oh! So Carnival is different from Carnival plc?
