I305KD Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Well, I'm finally back. I feel like I've improved since my last park. The last park was kind of a disaster, now that I look at it. I've gotten inspiration from a few parks. SFSC, Newport Pleasure Gardens, Elmwood Lake Park to name a few. This park won't have much CS. I mean no supports or buildings. Still working on that. But, I have great things in store for this park. I just hope this will be more successful. P.S. Sorry about the menus! They will be gone in the next update. Thanks! 1973 Hello, my name is Jim Green. The future general manager of Great Carolina Theme Park. The park will be located just outside Greenville, South Carolina. We plan to open the park on Memorial Day weekend, 1975. I've been asked to show you all updates from the park during construction, and during the season. Here are pictures from my first visit to the park's property. Shot0005.bmp Looking toward the massive turnstile building. Shot0006.bmp Looking back down toward the entrance. This view will look VERY different soon. Shot0007.bmp Looking at our park offices. Placed right in front of our midway. Shot0008.bmp Here are the restrooms. The sign has yet to be put up. Shot0009.bmp An overview of our park so far. Not much now, but that will drastically change.
boughtontroy Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 nice main gate so far but rename a peep to David Walsh then Ctrl and U just reminding you
SoCalCoasters Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Try using more than just the colored walls, as alone they can look quite drab and unappealing.
I305KD Posted February 17, 2013 Author Posted February 17, 2013 Thanks for your advice SoCal. This is just a start and I'm still improving on my park building. But thanks again!
fraroc Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 I've gotten inspiration from a few parks. SFSC, Newport Pleasure Gardens, Elmwood Lake Park to name a few. Oh stop it, you're making me blush! But anyways, decent start! I know that NCSO dosen't look as good as it does on RCT2, but this is not bad at all! But however, If I were to give a little bit of advice. You can use SOME CC. Your buildings can be ALL NCS, but to make the park look REALLY realistic, use Steelworx or Steel Jungle for your coasters! Looking foreward to how this park goes!
I305KD Posted February 23, 2013 Author Posted February 23, 2013 ^ Haha! Hey guys, I'd like to update you on what's going on with the park. I am completly changing the midway. As I was building, I realized it was way to bland and boring. I'm still working on it as of right now. Sorry, for not updating you guys lately. I haven't had the time. I hope to get an update up tonight. If not, I will post an update some time during the week. I can't tomorrow. Well, that's all. The park isn't dead. I just wanted to tell you guys what's going on.
Rollercoaster Rider Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Try using more than just the colored walls, as alone they can look quite drab and unappealing. It is the 70's.
