Holiday world trip.

Planning my first trip to Holiday World in Indiana this summer. Any hotels nearby that you would recommend? Looking for something in the midscale range, not motel 6, but not luxury either. Also, does anyone know any restaurants nearby worth checking out?

I had no issues with the Days Inn in Jasper about 5 years ago. At that time it appeared that the rooms had recently been redone.

^^Don't feel like you need to stay at Santa's Lodge which is the closest hotel to the park. Any of the ones by the two interstate exits are fine.

My thanks for the replies so far. The days Inn Jasper seems to have decent reviews on tripadvisor, so I booked there.
